Vans – The Sidestripe Capsule

The iconic sidestripe has come a long way since it was first introduced back in 1977. This Autumn/Winter Vans celebrate the sidestripe with an exclusive t-shirt capsule collection.

Having began it’s life as a mere doodle from Vans founder Paul Van Doren, the globally recognised symbol first appeared on the Vans Old Skool design and has since made it’s way on to several of Vans most loved silhouettes. The capsule collection consists of four t-shirt designs in black, white and navy colour ways, as well as a raglan tee with a black body and white sleeves. Each design displays the sidestripe in different ways including a bold graphic print, pocket designs, as well as making use of Vans equally iconic checkerboard pattern.

The Vans Sidestripe Capsule Collection is available now at select retailers and vans.co.uk.

Palace Skateboards x adidas Originals Collection

After days of rumours and sneak peeks, we can finally unveil the full details of the highly anticipated adidas Originals x Palace Skateboard collaboration with this fitting lookbook from our friends over at END. Clothing.

London based Palace skateboards have played a huge part within British skate culture and have been at the forefront of innovative skate design in both soft and hard goods. In a collection that references themes from 90’s British culture, a time of trackies, football shirts and loud sweaters, Palace rework some of the nations favourite designs from adidas. Keeping the branding minimal and applying a large selection of retro graphics, the collection features both sports and street wear designs with outerwear pieces, tracksuit bottoms and headwear offerings. The collections attention to detail is certainly something to admire as each piece successfully brings the gritty aesthetic of the 90’s back to life. Our key picks from the collection include the Stripe Crew Sweat in white and Team Away top.

The adidas Originals X Palace Skateboards collection will be available from the 27th of September online at www.endclothing.co.uk

Onitsuka Tiger X Asics X Hanon – Glover Pack

Japanese sister brands Onitsuka Tiger and Asics link up with Scotland’s number one footwear destination Hanon, to unveil an exclusive collaboration in the Glover Pack.

Following the brands recent collaborative venture with UK franchise Offspring, they now turn their attention to Hanon and us their home town of Aberdeen as inspiration for their latest collection. Paying homage to Aberdeenshire’s very own Samurai, legendary explorer and national hero – Thomas Blake Glover, the trio come together to present two new designs in Asics Gel-Epirus and Onitsuka Tiger’s Colorado Eighty-Five.

The Asics Gel-Epirus takes cues from Glover’s scottish roots and the thistle, Scotland’s national emblem. Arriving in a mint green suede and purple nubuck leather mix for the upper, the shoe features patriotic detailing with the red quilted collar lining and tartan in-sock, as well as the thistle emblem on the heel.

The Colorado Eighty-Five from Onitsuka Tiger takes inspiration from Glover’s adopted home of Japan, again making use of suede and nubuck on the upper with a perforated toe box and synthetic overlays. The shoe comes in a black and yellow colour way, with speckled detailing around the lace stay. Additional features include an embossed moustache logo on the heel and tea inspired insoles.

The limited edition Onitsuka Tiger X Asics X Hanon Glover Pack is available exclusively in-store and online at Hanon from Saturday the 27th of September.
