Footpatrol x ALIFE AW15 Capsule Collection

Two camps that are deeply rooted in the sneaker industry come together this season, as London’s Footpatrol and New York’s ALIFE join forces on a small capsule release.

Perhaps two of the worlds most loved and well known sneaker boutiques, ALIFE and Footpatrol first linked up as part of the London ALIFE Session’s last year, putting on an unforgettable show with Wu-Tang’s Raekwon. Aside from a co-branded tee to commemorate the event, this will be the first time the pair have worked together on an apparel release, as Footpatrol apply their creative direction to a selection of staple streetwear pieces that ALIFE the brand is perhaps best known for.  The capsule draws inspiration from each stores surroundings, looking to Soho, London and Lower East Side, New York to inform the designs. Comprised of t-shirts, hoodies, sweaters and some lightweight outerwear pieces, the collection arrives in a monochrome colour palette with pops of red from Alife’s box logo and Footpatrol’s signature gas mask logo, both of which have been printed and embroidered on to different pieces throughout the release.

The Footpatrol x ALIFE AW15 Capsule Collection will be arriving exclusively at Footpatrol and ALIFE on Friday the 13th of November.

Brixton Holiday 2015 Lookbook

Hot on the heels of their Fall 2015 release, San Diego label Brixton present their latest collection captured in another beautifully shot lookbook.

As one of the maturer brands on the market Brixton tastefully blur the lines of traditional workwear and more updated streetwear silhouettes, drawing from numerous themes to inform their design. Deeply rooted in music and the culture around their native city of San Diego, their latest collection maintains the brands signature look with the addition of new cut and sew outerwear, wovens, and pants, a strong headwear selection, and bulked out with a range of laid-back wardrobe staples. It’s a diverse release which utilises a seasonal colour palette and various heavyweight fabrics, delivering a range of goods that can be worn on their own or easily layered.

One again Brixton continue to outdo themselves on the visuals, capturing the latest collection and the lifestyle around the brand with an array of candid imagery that follows friends of the brand through their daily life routines.

Dickies x Yardsale 4

Dickies x Yardsale AW15

London skate company Yardsale link up with workwear giants Dickies on a concise collaborative collection for Autumn/Winter 2015.

Yardsale are arguably one of the most exciting brands to emerge from the UK skate scene of recent years with their lo-fi footage, and tongue-in-cheek hardware and soft goods designs, some of the most desirable on the market. Dickies is a brand that needs little introduction, and their place skateboarding is set with the ever growing popularity of the hugely accessible and hard wearing work pant styles. This season the two parties come together to rework two of Dickies staple silhouettes – the full zip Eisenhower coach jacket and the short sleeve white work shirt, both emblazoned with Yardsale’s script logo.

To celebrate the release, Yardsale have also put together a short edit dubbed the ‘Hi-8 Mix’ featuring riders Darius Trabalza, Jake Church, Curtis Pearl, Sebastian Tabe and Sam Roberts. The Dickies x Yardsale AW15 collection is available now over on yardsale-xxx.com and all good skate stores.
