Brand Updates: Penfield “The Coldest Day”

Following our previous post on Penfield’s fall/winter 2013 collection, the brand have followed it up with an exclusively curated look book for high winter called ‘The Coldest Day’.

Featuring both Menswear and Womenswear, the shoot shows off a more stylised direction to the brands fall/winter collection focusing on layering and functionality.

Brand Updates: 10.deep fall 2013 drop 2

Here we have ‘Nightfall’,  the second and final drop from the 10.Deep fall 2013 ‘Full Cycle’ collection.

The drop revisits some of the key prints and themes from the ‘Daylight’ release, however concentrating more on the transition into the darkening winter months. It shows a focus on nightshades, black-on-black and deeper purple and blue colour schemes.

Brand Updates: Quiet Life Fall 2013 Drop 2

The Quiet Life 2nd Fall release has now dropped and here we have the awesome look book shot by LA based photographer Jared Eberhart. Part 2 of the fall collection features the Herringbone Coach jacket available in two different colour ways. The Flake beanies and Our Tribe 5 panels are certainly stand out pieces, with new fleeces, socks and graphic tees also available.

Brand Updates: Edwin A/W 2013

Bold patterns, new washes and a seasonal colour palette can all be found in the Edwin collection for Autumn/Winter 2013. Staying true to its roots through the use of deep indigo denim with contrasting textures and patterns evoking the feel of an ever-changing Autumn to Winter landscape.

Four new washes have been introduced for the season as well as the arrival of the 55 Utility pant which has been modelled on the shape of the signature 55 chino.

The collection is rounded off with a hand crafted, three piece indigo suit made of Japanese yarn dyed camouflage twill…certainly a stand out feature in the new collection.

Universal Works and John Smedley have combined on a project that reflects both brands desire to produce quality and focus on craftsmanship.

Smedley’s can offer over 200 years of experience, knowledge and design ability. With their high commitment to quality and sustainability, it’s easy to see why Universal Works owner David Keyte approached the Smedley brand about the project.

Together they embarked on a collaborative collection combining classic and contemporary with an attention to detail reflective of both brands’ skill.

Brand Updates: The Hundreds – Move Mountains
