Stüssy “Wet Dreams Tour”

Stüssy go back to their roots this summer as members of the Tribe embark on an epic road trip across California, packed in to a classic Volkswagen Westfalia. Making stops at points in Malibu, Venice, Laguna, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and San Francisco, the Stüssy Tribe members linked up with the brands skate team, threw parties on Malibu beach and set up shop in the Volkswagen camper which acted as a pop-up store on the tour. You can take a closer look at what went down over the two weeks in the video below and head over to www.stussy.co.uk for more

All Good AW15 at Urban Industry

Arriving in the UK for the first time this season, young Californian label All Good is now available exclusively in Europe at Urban Industry. In celebration of the brands arrival, UI have put together a short lookbook feature to highlight the key styles from the release.

All Good is a fairly new face on the scene. A brand that is deeply rooted in the Californian lifestyle, they look to various themes surrounding the culture of the area, from the beach, to skate and outdoor activities, to inform their design. The brand has an undeniable streetwear sensibility to it, utilising bold graphics and vibrant colours throughout the collection which consists of staple, easy to wear silhouettes.

For Autumn/Winter 2015, the main emphasis is on the brands outerwear options, with their lightweight colour blocked pullover jackets the stand out pieces from the range. There is a retro element to the styles they put out, but a huge focus within their cut and sew line is functionality and this is achieved through technical details within each piece’s construction. All Good’s cut and sew line stretches in to shirting, sweaters and t-shirts, which have been made from various materials including mesh, chambray and PVC on the seamless zip detailing. The has been rounded off with a small selection of simple graphic tees and long sleeves, as well as a concise range of caps.

Brixton Spring 2015

Brixton unveil the latest visuals for their Spring 2015 collection, both of which perfectly capture the laid back aesthetic of the California based brand.

The latest instalment from Brixton is much of what we have come to expect from the brand, revisiting themes that we have seen consistently season after season to offer up a well balanced collection that gives quality in construction, muted earthy tones and relaxed styles, representing the relaxed culture of America’s west coast.

The collection ranges from the staple selection of tees, long sleeves and a vast array of headwear, to more technical cut and sew pieces in their button down shirts, comfortable chino trousers and light jacketing options. Exploring new materials and patterns, the brand holds back on loud graphic and colour applications, rather focusing on producing more timeless pieces that will look good all year round.

The brand embodies the music, people and culture that surrounds them, and they make those influences clear in their designs and more notably in their visuals. Accompanying their still imagery is a short video lookbook which features Californian brand The Rooms, again showcasing the garments and also relaying what Brixton as a lifestyle is all about. Brixton continue to stick close to their roots and what they know best, effortlessly delivering refreshing, easy to wear clothing that doesn’t cut corners in quality or fit.

The Brixton Spring 2015 collection will be available in the UK this week at the following retailers

Vans CA Present The Vansguard “True White” Reissue

Vans California offer up a super clean adaptation of 3 classic skate silhouettes, as they present the Vansguard ‘True White’ Reissue pack.
The Old Skool CA Low, Sk8-Hi CA and Era CA arrive with a premium cow suede and 10. oz duck canvas construction on the upper, with cotton and polyester blend on the tonal laces. Each shoe sits on top of a stark white midsole and features white accents throughout, with Vansguard Vans labelling and a synthetic leather lining for a plush finish.
With some bad weather to consider in the next few months, there’s obviously going to be some hesitation when deciding on these, but just to reassure you, Vans have treated the shoes with DWR, making them dirt and grime resistant. We didn’t need any more convincing here and its safe to say the Vansguard reissue is definitely one of our favourite releases of the year so far. An all white shoe is essential for any wardrobe, and although its slightly off-white in places, Vans California have done a great job in this release.
