Only NY make use of premium materials and once again reference previous era’s, as they present a concise capsule collection of winter ready hats.
The limited run of 5-panels and strap backs are constructed in the USA from a range of materials including speciality wool from Woolrich®, heavy weight fleece and vintage Peruvian patterned fabrics. The release compliments their mainline collection well as they continue to revisit nostalgic themes, especially in the aztec pattern pinch panel, giving off a kind of a toned down fresh prince vibe.
The Only NY Winter hats capsule is available at the brands flagship store over in New York now, but will also be available online this coming Monday (November 10th) at 8pm over at onlynylives.com
The iconic sidestripe has come a long way since it was first introduced back in 1977. This Autumn/Winter Vans celebrate the sidestripe with an exclusive t-shirt capsule collection.
Having began it’s life as a mere doodle from Vans founder Paul Van Doren, the globally recognised symbol first appeared on the Vans Old Skool design and has since made it’s way on to several of Vans most loved silhouettes. The capsule collection consists of four t-shirt designs in black, white and navy colour ways, as well as a raglan tee with a black body and white sleeves. Each design displays the sidestripe in different ways including a bold graphic print, pocket designs, as well as making use of Vans equally iconic checkerboard pattern.
The Vans Sidestripe Capsule Collection is available now at select retailers and vans.co.uk.
The Hundreds link up with the sharpie-wielding Todd Bratrud as they apply the artists unique, teen-inspired designs to a selection of apparel in their latest collaborative capsule collection.
Having previously worked with the likes of Nike SB and Volcom, Todd Bratrud’s style fits well into the Californian street wear brands aesthetic, taking inspiration from our favourite juvenile vices including comic books, pin-ball machine artwork, skateboarding and half-naked ladies, as well as an appearance from The Hundreds iconic Adam Bomb. The collection arrives in a black and white colour palette and consists of short and long sleeves tees, pullover hoodies, woven button down shirt, 5 panel and a fitting notebook and sharphie combo.
Todd Bratrud said this on the collab:
“This project and these drawings are as simple as what happens when you keep a marker on you at all times, obviously bathroom walls are where the best examples of this style of ‘art’ can be found. Also, I physically (and mentally) can’t stop drawing, so these crude drawings might be the most accurate depiction of how my mind works when it comes to creating art.”
