Footpatrol x Diadora present ‘The Macchiato’

Inspired by the Foothills of the Dolomites, Footpatrol have combined with Italian sportswear giants Diadora on the "Macchiato" pack this season.

Consisting of the brands popular V.7000 and B’Elite silhouettes, the pack draws from the regions rich heritage in producing quality coffee's and deserts, taking cues from the rustic backdrop to inform the Rich Beige colour-palette applied throughout the release. Both styles have been upgraded with a plush pig skin suede on the entirety of the upper, with tonal lacing and contrasting white leather panelling on the tongue - representing the white foam cloud that sits on top of the Macchiato. Final touches include embroidered gold Diadora logo detailing on the tongue and debossed Footpatrol branding on the heel of the V7000, while both premium uppers sit on top of a stark white sole unit for a clean finish.

Footpatrol and Diadora also came together on a short video piece, delving in to the landscape and culture of Veneto in Northeastern Italy, to give further insight in to the inspirations behind the release. The "Macchiato" pack will be available exclusively at Footpatrol, both in-store and online, from Friday the 25th of November.

LCS-FP-R800-Artisan-9

Footpatrol x Le Coq Sportif Made in France R800 ‘Artisan’

Hot on the heels of the "Only In Tokyo" collab with BEAMS and Saucony last month, London's Footpatrol round off the year with another solid footwear release, this time teaming up with Le Coq Sportif on the R800 'Artisan'.

Teaming up with the French sportswear label for the third time, Footpatrol look to the brands newly introduced 'Made In France' line in which LCS celebrate their rich heritage and commitment to their unique manufacturing process of their most iconic running styles. Pulling the form fitting R800 silhouette from the archive, Footpatrol pay homage to the skilled craftsmen/craftswomen across Western Europe who are dedicated to their trade, and who in this case, continue to devote their skills to producing high quality footwear by hand in France.

For the aptly named 'Artisan' release, the R800 has been dressed in a perforated dress blue leather on the upper, accented with a smooth nubuck on the heel and medial panels. The blue is contrasted with tan leather detailing on the shoes lining and laser-engraved dual-branded tongue detailing. The premium upper sits on top of an off white sole unit and complimenting gum outsole. Every pair arrives with three sets of laces for customisation, including a dress blue flat lace, multi-coloured flat lace and a full grain tan leather lace, and arrives in a custom wooden shoe box which includes a set of wooden shoe trees, leather shoe cream, buffing cloth and shoe brush.

ALIFE-Footpatrol-Press-Images-5

Footpatrol x ALIFE AW15 Capsule Collection

Two camps that are deeply rooted in the sneaker industry come together this season, as London’s Footpatrol and New York’s ALIFE join forces on a small capsule release.

Perhaps two of the worlds most loved and well known sneaker boutiques, ALIFE and Footpatrol first linked up as part of the London ALIFE Session’s last year, putting on an unforgettable show with Wu-Tang’s Raekwon. Aside from a co-branded tee to commemorate the event, this will be the first time the pair have worked together on an apparel release, as Footpatrol apply their creative direction to a selection of staple streetwear pieces that ALIFE the brand is perhaps best known for.  The capsule draws inspiration from each stores surroundings, looking to Soho, London and Lower East Side, New York to inform the designs. Comprised of t-shirts, hoodies, sweaters and some lightweight outerwear pieces, the collection arrives in a monochrome colour palette with pops of red from Alife’s box logo and Footpatrol’s signature gas mask logo, both of which have been printed and embroidered on to different pieces throughout the release.

The Footpatrol x ALIFE AW15 Capsule Collection will be arriving exclusively at Footpatrol and ALIFE on Friday the 13th of November.

Reebok-FP-Ventilator-Hotstepper-No-Logo-2

Footpatrol x Reebok Ventilator ‘Hotstepper’

Drawing inspiration from the golden era of home fitness videos, Reebok and London’s Footpatrol join forces once again to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the classic Ventilator silhouette.

Entitled ‘Hotstepper’, the 90’s inspired rework sees new material applications referencing the various equipment you would find lying around the gyms and changing rooms of the old school leisure centres, and in particular one aerobic essential – the Step . With that in mind, a bright white terry towel material on the upper meets with porcelain and crystal blue synthetic suede on the overlays, with hits of purple and red on the heel, sole unit and mid foot. Several nice touches have been added including embroidered Reebok branding on the tongue and side panels, and if you look closer you can see more playful details such as the back to front ‘R’ on the lateral side and the reversed Reebok text logo on the medial panel. As with all their previous collaborations, Footpatrol and Reebok’s attention to detail is second to none as the look is completed with two dual branded flippable woven tongue labels replacing the usual tongue tag, inspired by the information labels found on the gym garments, which outline the material specs of the shoes . The textured upper sits on top of a clean white midsole with contrasting retro colour pops on the outsole.

The ‘Hotstepper’ Ventilator arrives with custom Gasmask rubber swing-tags and three sets of rope laces which are a nod to the whistle neck ties used by the swimming pool lifeguards. With the shoe born at the turn of the 90’s, the collaborative rework is a fitting tribute to the classic silhouette, executed to the highest detail and consideration to all aspects of the theme translated into the design.

You can pick up the Footpatrol x Reebok 25th Anniversary Ventilator ‘Hotstepper’ in-store & online at www.footpatrol.co.uk on Saturday 23rd May (tomorrow)  from 8:00AM BST.
