Grind London 'In Season'

Grind London SS15 ‘In Season’ Lookbook

 Grind London offer up another visual treat for Spring/Summer 2015 as they bring the summer vibes for their latest lookbook entitled ‘In Season’.

Its been great to see the London based brand continue to make such an impact on the national and global scene in recent years. Seamlessly combining the quality of menswear design with more casual streetwear styles, they have continued to develop their range season after season. There aren’t many other UK brands that have offered the level of conviction in design or general aesthetic that Grind London have, with staple items through to more considered cut and sew pieces, their releases draw from a range of themes that embody the culturally diverse melting pot that is our capital city.

Their latest release for Spring/Summer takes inspiration from the notion of being “in”, looking past the fads and trends that were, for their moment, the “in” thing and rather to those that have achieved longevity instead of fading out. From this, Grind London have put together a collection that doesn’t adhere to the current trends of the market, but offers up something more timeless. “In Season” features several graphic focused tees, long sleeves and hoodies, alongside a strong cut and sew range consisting of patterned shirting, light-jacketing options, tailored trousers and shorts, most of which has been constructed using premium Japanese cotton. The collection is rounded off with several weather appropriate caps, featuring embroidered logo’s and corduroy.

HERESY CUNNING FOLK

HERESY “Cunning Folk” Lookbook

South London label HERESY channel themes from English folklore in their latest capsule release for Summer 2015 as they present the “Cunning Folk” lookbook.

The capsule again shows development from HERESY following their ‘Depression’ collection earlier this Spring, with considered material application and detailing giving a clean finish to contemporary designs. The collection combines experimental menswear styles with sportswear themes for a selection of easy to wear street ready pieces.  The colour palette is muted, with heavy use of black, white and grey’s throughout, applying illustrated graphic pieces and screen prints referencing folk elements such as Hagstones, Morris Dancers and Pearly Kings. Along with the staple printed tees and long sleeves, there are cut and sew baseball shirts, a small selection of headwear, heavy wearing mussette bags and also the standout canvas sleeveless pullover.

The collection was designed, printed and shot entirely in Peckham, and is captured in this Barouqe-esque lookbook, referencing the famous still life paintings in amongst a series of carefully selected looks. You can shop the full collection over at  heresylabel.co.uk

10.Deep Spring 2015 Delivery 1

 New York’s 10.Deep continue to deliver clean visuals in their latest look book for their Spring 2015 “American Glitch” collection, with the first delivery entitled “Reckless”.

 The brand looks back to the late 90’s/early 2000’s to draw inspiration from american workwear, hunting gear and the everyman ‘fashion’ of the era. For most, including me, the late 90’s/early 2000’s wardrobe is something I would happily forget, but 10.Deep have certainly managed to pull the best from the times and translated the pieces into a highly wearable, street ready collection.

 Reworking stonewashed denim, bleached and over washed khakis, with a colour base of red, white and navy, which sets the overall tone for the collection. The release is diverse, comprised of several trouser styles from cuffed pattern joggers to patchwork denim, several button-down shirts and lighter outerwear options. 10.Deep also continue their focus on sportswear themes through various hooded sweaters and nascar themed jerseys.

 10.Deep’s first delivery from their “American Glitch” Spring collection will be available at the following UK retailers shortly;
