Krusoe Winter 2014 Lookbook

Low_res_01

Krusoe has been a welcome addition to the Brighton scene since it opened its doors back in the Autumn of 2013. Situated in Brighton’s historic south lanes, the store combines its minimal aesthetic with a solid selection of clothing sourced globally, but with a specific UK focus.

Offering up a great mixture of ‘premium’ streetwear and casual menswear items, the store puts a focus on brands that take a high quality approach, producing timeless pieces rather than adhering to the current trends.

We linked up with our friends at Krusoe to produce this minamilistic lookbook, showcasing product from their Winter collections in store, with the likes of Raised By Wolves, Passport, Black Scale and Grind London all featuring.

You can shop the full ranges from all the brands over at krusoe-store.co.uk

5Pointz – Winter Treads Lookbook

Winter_Treads_03

We have teamed up with our friends at 5Pointz once again to showcase some of their key Winter footwear styles.

Consisting of brands such as Nike, Asics, Adidas, Puma and Reebok, the shoes were shot against the chalky, snow-like backdrop of Birling Gap to give it a seasonal feel.  We aimed to highlight each style’s functional features and test them against the elements, from PUMA’s Gore-Tex water proof lining to the Nike Air Max 1 Duckboot’s heavy duty outsole.

Enjoy the Winter inspired lookbook and be sure to head over to 5Pointz now to shop their full footwear range.

ONLY NY AW14 Editorial

Only_Slider_01

It’s been a while since we last linked up with our friends at Street Casuals and we couldn’t be happier to join forces again to showcase product from the awesome ONLY NY Fall/Winter 2014 drop.

We really enjoyed ONLY NY’s approach to their official lookbook, showcasing the brand in real scenarios, with a selection of natural photographs showing how the clothing would be seen at street level. With this lookbook our aim was to continue this ‘real’ look, translating it into our own environment around the streets of Brighton.

The collection itself continues the brands nostalgic approach, drawing themes from 90′s New York and applying this to vintage sportswear inspired pieces. Comprising of button-down shirts, crew-neck sweaters, rugby tops, outerwear pieces, headwear and a great selection bold graphic tees, the collection is diverse as is its colour palette.

The latest release is everything we have come to expect from the New York brand and more, and its great to see ONLY continue to develop their range. In an industry thats saturated with regurgitated graphics, ONLY always step up and bring something new. Their unique New York inspired designs and how they apply them to their premium streetwear pieces is what really sets them apart and why they continue to be one of our favourite brands here at By The Level.

Enjoy the look book and be sure to head over to www.streetcasuals.com now to shop the range.

Dickies AW14 – The Great Outdoors

dickies_20

We have worked closely with our friends at 5Pointz to produce this lookbook entitled ‘The Great Outdoors’, showcasing the stores jacket and outerwear options from Dickies this Autumn/Winter.

Founded back in 1918, Dickies is one of the original workwear brands. A globally renowned name, the brands timeless silhouettes and classic fits have seen them inadvertently conquer skate and streetwear, while continuing to provide quality workwear pieces. This seasons offering features fur-lined heavy weight coats to understated lightweight coach jackets and everything in between, maintaining Dickies core values in high quality construction and functionality.

A range that is packed with easy to style, solid outerwear. Clean designs with minimal to no branding makes a Dickies jacket, whether it be Parka or a club jacket, a winter wardrobe staple. In this lookbook we headed to the woods to capture the collection against a natural setting and test the pieces out against the elements.

Enjoy the lookbook and be sure to head over to 5Pointz now to shop the full range.
