Reebok Classics x Wood Wood AW15 Collection

Danish contemporary streetwear brand Wood Wood have come together with Reebok Classics to create a considered capsule release this season, inspired by 90’s British street culture.

The collection is centred around the sportswear themes and logo-centric designs that were so familiar on the streets of the British Isle’s in previous decades, drawing from the extensive archive of Reebok Classics, pulling out classic designs that were hugely popular around that time. Consisting of a tees, polo tops, sweatshirts and a tracksuit, alongside functional outerwear pieces and a small selection of headwear, the capsule combines technical fabrications and detailing with laid back silhouettes to give a true representation of both brands approach. The collection arrives in a predominantly monochromatic colour palette and utilises bold motifs from both reebok Classics and Wood Wood, applying them as graphic prints throughout the release.

To round of the capsule collection, the pair have also combined to rework Reebok’s classic Ventilator silhouette with a greyscale colour application, while incorporating various technical fabrications in the design to align with the apparel range.

The Reebok Classics x Wood Wood AW15 Collection will be arriving at Wood Wood stores on Saturday the 14th of November and will be launching at select retailers and Reebok Classic Stores worldwide on November 28th

Palace Skateboards x Adidas Winter 2015

Continuing their fruitful partnership in to the winter, Palace and adidas build off their 90’s inspired collaborative collections for one of their strongest releases to date this season.

The Winter 2015 collection once again looks to classic silhouettes from the german sportswear brand, reworked with a bit of creative influence from London’s premier skate brand. As we move into the colder weather, the latest collaborative release takes a heavy focus on outerwear, with the reversible heavyweight down jacket and the marble print bomber jacket the two stand out pieces. Aligning with the nostalgic sportswear theme, the collection also features football inspired jerseys, dual-branded tracksuits tops and joggers, and bulked out with casual hoodies, quarter zip pullovers, polo tees and long sleeves. A varied selection of accessories including winterised headwear, bags and gloves round off the release, which is designed to keep you cozy and warm throughout the harsher months.

It’s a nostalgic release for those, like myself, who donned the classic adidas trackies back in the 90’s. Utilising colour blocking and wavy print techniques in places with a monochromatic colour palette throughout, it’s the perfect mixture of bold and understated, and theres no questioning why this, like all the other releases, will causes so much hype.

Enjoy the lookbook above, once again featuring team rider Blondey Mccoy donning the clothing. The Palace Skateboards x adidas Winter 2015 collection will be available at www.palaceskateboards.com and at selected stores from the 24th of October.

Post Details Summer 2015 – Tennis Anyone?

Swedish skate brand Post Details draw inspiration from the popular summer pastime of tennis in their latest collection, appropriately dubbed “Tennis Anyone?”

Having previously focused their releases towards headwear designs, their latest effort takes a slightly different direction as they continue to develop their clothing range, giving their own representation of Tennis apparel informed by their skateboarding heritage. The new collection sees the bright white and greens of the grass court applied to a range of polos tops, tees, sweaters, shorts, bottoms, socks and light outerwear options, alongside a complimenting range of caps. Post have also reworked some of the most iconic tennis brand logos and applied them as large back prints and small embroidered type, alongside their classic hydrant design, onto the pieces. The range also features a nice little touch in the custom ‘racket bag’ to accompany the apparel offerings, large enough to fit your deck in when your on your travels.

The collection offers up a unique take on tennis wear and is definitely something different to what we have seen from other skate focused brands this season.  The Post Details ‘Tennis Anyone’ Collection will be available this month from Flatspot, Ideal, Palomino Club, Lost Art and Sneakers N Stuff.
