Crooks and Castles present delivery 1 for Spring 2014. The drop sees the return of some of Crooks core logos on tees, fleece’s and hats. There is animal print used for the Python crew neck sweatshirt as well as other prints and panelling featured on shirts and sweaters. The Vans sidestripe started as a mere doodle from founder Paul Van Doren and has since turned into an iconic symbol of the brands heritage. Originally known as the ‘Jazz Stripe’ the motif has marked some of the most iconic silhouettes in Vans history including one of their most celebrated styles: The Old Skool.
The Old Skool arrived in 1977 and was known back then as “style 36”. Both durable and innovative the shoe quickly became a favourite amongst Skateboarders and BMX riders worldwide.
This Spring Vans are celebrating the legacy of the Sidestripe with an expanded offering of the Old Skool, focusing highly on colour, pattern and material.
