Carhartt WIP Autumn/Winter 2016 Look-Book

Carhartt WIP recently dropped the visuals for their Autumn/Winter 2016 line, showcasing a diverse selection of apparel, drawing influence from various themes.

The in house Work In Progress brand was founded in 1989 with the sole purpose of redesigning and reshaping classic Carhartt looks for modern city life, all while staying true to the core ideals of the brand; quality, comfort and durability.

This is pretty evident in the latest drop, as the classic pieces are all there however, along with well-known patterns and motifs; they’ve been given modern twists and have been re-imagined for 2016.

The versatility of the clothing is evident in both the male and female collections this season, as elements from menswear and street-wear come together to showcase the eclectic nature of the brand itself.

Select pieces are available now at a number of Carhartt WIP retailers as well as their web store.

Hélas “Finish Him” Summer 2016 Quickstrike Lookbook

Hélas have come through with a brand new Quickstrike collection dubbed "FINISH HIM",  marking the end of Summer and the move in to the colder seasons. The collection  picks up from where the last release left off, with several recognisable logo designs from the brands archive, with their recognisable umbrella logo amongst others, applied across tees, shorts, polo tops, sweaters, track suit bottoms and headwear. The collection sticks to a summery colour palette with the use of pastel's and bold colour blocking, while branding is kept subtle throughout as they get more experimental with different materials and cuts. Stand out's include the washed pink embroidered sweater and the Classic nylon tracksuit bottoms for when you wanna stunt down the park.

Check out the full look book featuring riders Karl Salah & Gauthier Rouger by photographer Nikwen. The Hélas "FINISH HIM" quickstrike collection is available now over on the brands webstore and select retailers including Parlour Skate Store and Slam City.

Patta Fall/Winter 2016 Lookbook

Amsterdam mainstay Patta have unveiled their latest collection as we head in to colder seasons with a simplistic studio lookbook, highlighting a range of looks and styles for Fall/Winter 2016.

The collection, like many others from the Dutch brand, is considered and diverse, offering up a mix of sportswear inspired pieces, classic streetwear staples and outerwear references in the heavier pieces. Most of the collection sticks to a subdued, Autumnal colour palette, with more vibrant hits in places on the retro inspired tees and headwear. Aside from a strong selection of graphic pieces, which make clever use of colour blocking throughout, the outerwear takes centre stage in the release with oversized bombers and elongated parkers the stand outs, while the burnt orange fleece shirt is our pick from the collection. Sweaters, polo shirts, matching tracksuit and a selection of headwear round off the release, all sticking to similar colour palettes and minimal detailing, utilising fan favourite designs from previous releases.

The Patta Fall/Winter 2016 collection will launch in store and online at Patta this Friday, August 19th and will also be available at official Patta retailers worldwide in the coming weeks. For now, check the lookbook shot by Menno Kok and mark out your most wanted.

HUF x Cleon Peterson – In Killing We Live

HUF have come together with LA based artist Cleon Peterson on a concise collaborative collection showcasing the artists' signature style.

Renowned for his violent and chaotic style, Peterson utilises monochromatic paintings of clashing figures to symbolise the struggle of power and hierarchy in modern society. Dubbed "In Killing We Live", the collection consists of tees, a sweater, two caps, socks, a duffle bag, flick knife and a skate deck, all featuring custom artwork from Peterson. Sticking to a simplistic black and white colour palette, the release is rounded off with a reversible Bomber Jacket, again featuring the signature style as a subtle print on the lining or alternatively worn as a bold all over print.

You can pick up the HUF x Cleon Peterson capsule collection at select retailers including Note & Chimp Store now.
