Heresy ‘Forming’ Collection

Heresy take a minimal approach on their latest collection for Autumn/Winter 2014 and present a clean accompanying look book shot by Dan Wilton.

The UK streetwear brand strips back designs and delivers a collection focused around the quality of fabrics used and clean contemporary graphic prints. The concise releases comprises of hand-printed tees, loop-back sweaters and 3/4 length raglan tees which reference both religious and sportswear themes. Applying a muted colour pallette throughout, the collection continues with the menswear inspired soft brushed cotton collarless shirt and accessory selection made up of the watch cap beanie, short peak baseball caps and drawstring backpacks.

Check out the look book below and be sure to keep an eye out for the release set to drop in October 2014. For more information visit heresylabel.co.uk.

Universal Works Autumn/Winter 2014

Providing a unique and refreshing approach to menswear styling, Universal Works return with their Autumn/Winter collection that references 50’s suiting and draws influence from military detailing and classic workwear.

The UK brand have prided themselves on producing small quantities and focused on the style and superior fits of their garments. This season they continue this ethos in a diverse collection that features a mixture of classic and contemporary fabrics across a range of smart menswear and more casual, workwear pieces. From Harris Tweed and Yorkshire Lambswool to Japanese denims, the broad choice of materials create the base, whilst Norfolks winter coastline acts as inspiration for the collections colour palette.

A slightly more mature look than we usually feature on the site, however we are huge fans of the brands approach to design and the care that goes into every piece. The mix of the traditional and the modern offers something different to the norm and its stylish yet understated clothing is the perfect solution to a smarter street ready look.
