Australian skate company Pass~Port have come together with Vans this season on a small collaborative collection consisting of shoes and a limited selection soft goods. In celebrating the release, the pair have also come together on a 7-minute clip featuring a mix of riders from both brands trying out some of the goods.
The collection centres around the classic Old Skool silhouette, which is offered in a dark chocolate brown and a clean off-white “marshmallow” colour way. The shoe maintains all the signature touches that has made it one of the most iconic skate silhouettes of all time, the Jazz stripe, toe and heel panels and the chunky sole unit. Pass~Port have added several premium touches to the staple style, mixing a durable hairy suede and equally as durable heavy canvas on the side panels and tongue, finished with a premium leather stripe branding. The aesthetics are completed with subtle embroidered branding on the tongue and heel, and a white Vans tab on the back of the sole. As you’d expect with every Vans style, functionality is assured with Duracap underlays in high wear areas, a built in, supportive heel counter, enhanced cushioning from Vans ‘Ultracush’ footbeds and signature grippy gum waffle tread.
Be sure to check the clip above filmed on the streets of Melbourne and Sydney, featuring Callum Paul and Nik Stipanovic, along with the rest of the Pass~Port team and Vans riders Jack Kirk, Ryan Wilson, George Kousoulis & Floyd Scott.
