Supreme Fall/Winter 2014 Lookbook

 

Supreme call on the services of team rider Lucien Clarke to present their latest collection for Fall/Winter 2014.

Renowned for pushing boundaries within their collections, Supreme introduce numerous new designs, drawing influence from a range of themes. Their latest release executes clean and clinical designs with style, still incorporating the brands iconic skate heritage.

The release features a strong outerwear selection, from casual club jackets to more formal tailored pea coats and sheepskin bombers. The collection has you covered for all conditions the colder months have to offer, all the while giving high consideration towards the design and fit.

The lookbook’s layered styling showcases various colour palettes and patterns spread across several pieces including hoodies, shirting, tees, sweaters, accessories and more.  Schott NYC and Champion offer their creative input with collaborative capsules sitting alongside the main collection. Stand out items for us include the Stars and Stripes Box Logo pullover and Daytona Piled Lined Jacket

Garbstore AW14 ‘Within The Bills’ Lookbook

 

Garbstore took to the streets of Notting Hill to photograph the latest offering from their in-house collection for Autumn/Winter 2014.

Entitled ‘Within The Bills’, the lookbook showcases clean outerwear pieces from patterned rained coats to chore style jackets. Vintage inspired knitwear items and casual shirting options take inspiration from the past whilst applying a modern twist.

The visuals also give a preview of the brands upcoming bag collaboration with Chapman, which is due in September and also features the brands footwear release with Reebok.

The collection will be available from the brands store and select stockists in the coming months.

HUF Fall 2014 – Drop 1

 

HUF have released the first instalment of their fall 2014 collection, including a capsule collection within the release, as they partner up with American rock band Blondie.

The diverse release features a range of wardrobe staples for the colder seasons, with everything from raglans to long sleeve button ups. Stand out pieces include the Varsity Jacket and the Varsity Trippy Crew that arrives in an all over tie-dye in 4 different colour treatments.

One aspect of their collections that seems to continuously improve with every release is their headwear selection. Again diverse, the range features 5 panels, 6 panels, buckets, beanies and most notably the Pill Box design.

Alongside the main collection sits the Blondie collaborative effort that celebrates the bands 40th year anniversary. It consists of short sleeved button down shirts, graphic tees, a 5-panel cap, bucket hat, tote bag and Sutter shoe, incorporating a mix of all over real photo patterns and iconic images of the band in the design.

Sneaker Freaker x Nike ‘Genealogy of Innovation’ Book

 

Hot on the heels of Nike’s ‘Genealogy of Innovation’ exhibitions, the sportswear giants link up with Australia’s Sneaker Freaker to publish a 200+ page retrospective book on the brands rich history in footwear design.

The limited edition book documents Nike’s evolution from 1971, when Phil Knight introduced the first shoe to bear the ‘Swoosh’, up until modern releases in the Magista and Mercurical Superfly and everything in between. Covering 200 game-changing designs in shoes and football boots, the book unearths rarely seen design sketches that have contributed to the brands development over the past 40 years. Interviews with Nike designers including Tinker Hatfield and Nike football design director, Denis Dekovic, give an exclusive insight into the design processes and the development of some of the most noted footwear releases of all time.

Surf Liquor – AW14 Sneak Peek

 

Following the success of the brands pop-up skate space in East London, UK label Surf Liquor give us a sneak peek of whats to come for their Autumn/Winter 2014 collection.

Aligning with the brands Californian style summer theme, their latest collection again features sun-washed tees and sweatshirts in an earthy colour palette. New styles are introduced in the Windbreaker and Cadillac jackets in khaki and steel grey, as well as a selection of new graphic and pattern t-shirts.

Nike SB Autumn/Winter 2014 ‘Fit To Move’ collection

 

Designed with the riders needs in mind, Nike SB present their ‘Fit to Move’ collection for Autumn/Winter 2014, delivering an apparel range built for skateboarding.

Woking closely with pro skaters, Nike SB deliver a mixture of technical garments, as well as basics from v-necks to crews, that feature the latest innovation such as Dri-FIT technology for breathability. As the title suggests, each piece is designed to allow for total mobility as well providing durability to deal with skateboardings demands. Key pieces include the Skylight Short Sleeve Crew that features a dropped hem for extra coverage, and the Everett Crew with articulated under arm construction.

This innovative collection deserves nothing less than innovative visuals to showcase its offerings and this season sees Nike SB take the ‘lookbook’ one step further. Aligning with the themes of movement, 22 cameras were set up to capture team riders Olsonn, Rodriguez, Beasley, Oliveria and Bramsmark in slow-motion on a 360 degree view, each performing a tre-flip.
