size? Basics Summer 2014 Collection

Sitting alongside some of the biggest names in footwear and street wear, size? have been developing their own apparel collections for just under a decade now. This Summer sees the second season of their in house range, as they release a selection of basic essentials.

In any wardrobe it is important to balance branded pieces with clean, versatile clothing and size? have you covered with their latest offering. Each piece is crafted from premium, lightweight materials and arrives in a muted colour palette of navy, grey and white. The release features curved hem and striped tees, double lined mesh vest and shorts, as well as lightweight long sleeves.

The easy to wear pieces are designed to form a foundation for any outfit, to allow the wearer to add or take away layers to fit their own style.

a number of names presents BILLIONAIRE BOYS CLUB EU summer 2014 lookbook shot by DEXTER NAVY

Earlier this month we featured key pieces from Billionaires Boys Club latest drop for Summer 2014 in our A Number of Names look book for Urban Industry. We now take a closer look into the collection as a number of names presents the Billionaire Boys Club EU summer lookbook shot by Dexter Navy.

The release features an array of graphic tees, tanks, sweaters and headwear, with the summer theme running through the collections pastel colour palatte. Alongside logo and typography prints sit 50’s and 60’s Havana and Miami inspired designs such as the Mega Yacht and Slash T-shirts.

SATTA Summer Solstice Collection

We have been eagerly anticipating this release since we first caught wind of it, with those earthy tones a firm summer favourite here at bythelevel. Brixton based SATTA are proud to present their solstice collection for summer 2014.

Rooted in Rastafarian culture and inspired by the simplicity and rawness of skateboardings beginnings, SATTA tells the story of livity which embodies a connectedness, balance and harmony with nature and all of creation. Since making its debut with handcrafted cruiser decks sculpted from salvaged offcuts, the ‘sidewalk surfer’ boards have put SATTA on the map as one of the highest quality skateboards available.

This summer sees SATTA develop their range into a collection of seasonal staples including tees, hoods and accessories to sit alongside their custom boards. The clothing is made from 100% organic cotton, taking cues and colour inspiration from the natural world.

SATTA’s founder Joe had this to say on the collection;

“Being mindful that the vibe and lifestyle of Satta resonate beyond just skateboarding, we have launched our first clothing collection as a means to spread the Satta Livity.”

PUMA Autumn/Winter 2014 Lookbook

PUMA delves into its archives as inspiration for its Autumn/Winter 2014 collection, as they celebrate the Formstripe’s key role and rich history in sport.

The formstripe has been adorned by some of the greatest athletes of all time, from the tennis court in the 70’s to the track in the 90s, PUMA have worked closely with the wearers to add personality to the brand. This Autumn/WInter sees PUMA release and re-issue some of their strongest styles yet from Heritage runner to Tennis Classics , each paying high attention to detail and featuring the latest game changing technology.

The sleek lookbook showcases the seasons silhouettes throughout the different collections, which include Heritage Running, Tennis, Tech Style, Natural Calm, Winterised, Hyper Natural and Sport Classics. Firm favourites such as the R698, XS850, XT2 and 1 and the Disc Blaze all receive new treatments, with the famous Trinomic technology adding to the designs.

The Quiet Life – Summer 2014

The Quiet Life return with yet another experimental collection as they introduce new designs inspired by various art techniques into their Summer 2014 collection.

As with previous collections, the latest release features several capsules within the main collection. Using abstract art as its inspiration, the range includes new button down shirts, custom sublimated and printed tees, tank tops, headwear and accessories, as well as new premium tees with Liberty fabric detailing replacing the pocket tee options this season.

The capsule collections sees the continuation of the watercolour capsule with NYC based artist Matt Sohl, as well as new takes on photography themed designs. There is also the Toile fabric collection, the Bahia fabric collection and a Liberty Batik fabric collection to round off the release.

Brighton born Blacksmith Skate co return with their latest collection for Summer 2014 and complimentary edit showcasing the range.

The collection is one of their most concise yet, with a high focus on quality over quantity. The range includes a tee, long sleeve tee, shorts, accessories and headwear options. The designs are hand printed here in Brighton featuring artwork from friends of the brand: Pete Sharp, Tom Cardiff and Ryan Ady Putra, and sit on imported Champion blanks from the US.
