Reebok Classics x Wood Wood AW15 Collection

Danish contemporary streetwear brand Wood Wood have come together with Reebok Classics to create a considered capsule release this season, inspired by 90’s British street culture.

The collection is centred around the sportswear themes and logo-centric designs that were so familiar on the streets of the British Isle’s in previous decades, drawing from the extensive archive of Reebok Classics, pulling out classic designs that were hugely popular around that time. Consisting of a tees, polo tops, sweatshirts and a tracksuit, alongside functional outerwear pieces and a small selection of headwear, the capsule combines technical fabrications and detailing with laid back silhouettes to give a true representation of both brands approach. The collection arrives in a predominantly monochromatic colour palette and utilises bold motifs from both reebok Classics and Wood Wood, applying them as graphic prints throughout the release.

To round of the capsule collection, the pair have also combined to rework Reebok’s classic Ventilator silhouette with a greyscale colour application, while incorporating various technical fabrications in the design to align with the apparel range.

The Reebok Classics x Wood Wood AW15 Collection will be arriving at Wood Wood stores on Saturday the 14th of November and will be launching at select retailers and Reebok Classic Stores worldwide on November 28th

Copson AW15 Collection

Copson re-up on their tropical leisurewear as they bring the sunkissed lifestyle in to the colder months with a concise release.

Brain Dead AW15 ‘Drop 3’ Lookbook

Brain Dead have released the latest set of visuals to showcase offerings from their ‘Drop 3’ release this season.

Described as a ‘creative collective of artists and designers from around the world’, Brain Dead are one of very few brands on the market who are really carving out a unique identity, at the very forefront of the graphic t-shirt movement of late, in which we are seeing more and more smaller brands emerge. Citing inspirations from the worlds of post punk, skateboarding, comics and the rebellious spirit of subcultures as a whole, Brain Dead keep it simple with the silhouettes but their strengths lie in the bold designs they produce. Drop 3 consists of tees, caps and tote bag’s all bearing the brands vibrant and distinctive designs, drawing from the aesthetic of a typical American motel.

Head over to braindead.xxx for more information on the brand and to shop the latest release. You can also pick up pieces from the latest collection, as well as bits from the brands collaborative venture with DSM over at doverstreetmarket.com

KR3W Holiday 2014 Lookbook

KR3W continue the ‘dark americana’ theme from their Autumn release as they present their latest offering for Holiday 2014.

It’s no secret that we were huge fans of KR3W’s previous collection. With Jack Toledo at the head of the brands design, the release was their most mature to date and firmly re-announced that the brand, which had once seemingly lost its way, is well and truly back on track.

KR3W continue in the same vein and maintain their moody aesthetic with a monochromatic colour palette full of dark washes, over-dyed pieces and muted pops of tartan. The Holiday release features the brands signature graphic emblazoned tees, alongside cut and sew pieces in jackets, sweaters and shirts that take a more subtle design approach. The waxed terry fleece coach jacket is the stand out piece from this one and the collection also unveils the highly anticipated Eric Dressen capsule release.

The KR3W Holiday 2014 collection is available now at the brands website kr3wdenim.com and selected retailers including routeone.co.uk

Quiet Life x Katsuo ‘Jump On It’ Capsule Collection

The Quiet Life present the latest from their ongoing collaborative instalments as they team up with Japanese illustrator Yusuke of Katsuo design.

Taking cues from 60′s pop art, Yusuke applies his illustrative artwork to a 19-piece range that includes woven shirts, tees, long sleeves and pull-over hoodies, as well as a selection of headwear and socks. The release will sit inside the second delivery of the Quiet Life’s second drop from Autumn/Winter 2014 and arrives in a seasonal palette of greys, tans, blacks and whites. We are big fans of the curvaceous character designs and light hearted type that accompanies it. It definitely brings something new and exciting from the brand, sitting well against the mainline collection. Our top picks include the embroidered pocket tees and 6-panel, with the all over print shirts catching our eye too!

The lookbook below, shot by the brands founder Andy Mueller, takes us around Yusuke’s work space, giving us a closer look at the man behind the collection.
