For the third year running, California based Nixon link up with Parisian boutique Colette to once again rework the classic Time Teller.

The timepiece arrives in limited numbers, with only 99 put into production so you’re going to need to act quickly if you want to get your hands on one. Each piece is engraved with their individual number, etched into the 100-metre stainless steel case that arrives in a cool silver. The wrist strap take cues from the french concept stores signature navy-blue, with a complimenting watch face that makes use of Nixon’s popular blue sun ray pattern.

Wardrobe staples including long and short sleeved graphic tees, hoodies and sweaters sit alongside the brands first ever cut and sew range that features baseball jerseys, french terry bottoms and the stand out satin coach jacket (seen above).

It’s great to see CLSC making waves here in the UK and getting the recognition it deserves. Quiet Life x Katsuo ‘Jump On It’ Capsule Collection

The Quiet Life present the latest from their ongoing collaborative instalments as they team up with Japanese illustrator Yusuke of Katsuo design.

Taking cues from 60′s pop art, Yusuke applies his illustrative artwork to a 19-piece range that includes woven shirts, tees, long sleeves and pull-over hoodies, as well as a selection of headwear and socks. The release will sit inside the second delivery of the Quiet Life’s second drop from Autumn/Winter 2014 and arrives in a seasonal palette of greys, tans, blacks and whites. We are big fans of the curvaceous character designs and light hearted type that accompanies it. It definitely brings something new and exciting from the brand, sitting well against the mainline collection. Our top picks include the embroidered pocket tees and 6-panel, with the all over print shirts catching our eye too!

The lookbook below, shot by the brands founder Andy Mueller, takes us around Yusuke’s work space, giving us a closer look at the man behind the collection.

The Quiet Life x Katsuo capsule collection is available now at www.urbanindustry.co.uk. For more information visit www.thequietlife.com

PUMA Trinomic ‘Green Box’ Pack

PUMA give a bold rework to 3 key Trinomic styles this season as they present the appropriately named ‘Green Box’ Pack.

For those PUMA footwear fans out there or to anyone who has purchased a Trinomic shoe before, the particular colour of green used may seem familiar. Thats because Pantone’s ‘ Classic Green’ is the colour applied to the iconic Trinomic box and it turns out the same green works pretty well on some of your favourite PUMA silhouettes too.

Featuring up to date reworks of the Blaze of Glory, R698 and XT2+, the pack makes use of a variety of premium materials and subtle details to give a unique finish. The Blaze of Glory boasts a mesh upper with nubuck overlays, the R698 has textured nylon and mesh mix on the upper with additional green piping and last but not least the lightweight XT2+ is given a white, full grain leather formstripe. Each shoe features a contrasting crystal white midsole and white branding, with 3M hexagonal detailing and red pops on the heel.

LFT FLD

LFT FLD is the brainchild of two of the UK’s key players in the skate/streetwear scene and this Autumn/Winter they release their inaugural collection full of 90′s inspired silhouettes, with a contemporary twist.

Recent years have seen increased interest in british streetwear, sneaker culture and our skate scene, and for good reason. With the huge hype around American brands its easy to forget sometimes that the UK holds some of the worlds most sought after stores and is home to some of the most unique independent brands of the moment. UK streetwear is definitely on the up and Gareth Skewis (Palace and Slam City Skates) and Paul Ruffles (size? and Footpatrol) have been a huge part of the UK movement. Their experience and skill has been channelled into this impressive collaborative effort – LFT FLD.

Taking a retrospective approach whilst applying refined, considered construction, LFT FLD present a solid selection of sportswear inspired apparel. Performance outerwear options in the contemporary neoprene jacket and reversible hoodie are the stand out pieces, while staple athletic silhouettes dominate the release, bearing heavy graphic designs from none other than Fergus Purcell – the man behind the Palace logo and many other big name designs, has now turned his attention to the graphic identity and branding for LFT FLD.

The LFT FLD first release is available now at size? and will be available from other select retailers shortly.
