Grind London – Losing Focus Editorial

Grind London link up with no nonsense photographer Bafic to shoot a selection of pieces from their Autumn/Winter 2014 release in this gritty editorial.

Entitled ‘Losing Focus’, the editorial follows Jack Cannon as he makes his way through the drab streets of Shepherds Bush from dusk through to dawn. The visuals compliments the collection well, showcasing Grind London’s ability to channel themes from the UK and London in particular to inspire their designs. The release references menswear and workwear styles, while taking a playful approach to street ready pieces. Illustrated graphics are applied to tees, long sleeves and also appear on sweaters and jackets. Straight legged tailored bottoms and new headwear pieces see them expand their offerings in a collection constructed from high quality, globally sourced materials.

Stand out pieces include the workwear inspired Japanese denim stripe chore jacket and the forbidden long sleeve tee.

Enjoy the lookbook and be sure to head over to www.grindlondon.com to shop the collection now.

Patagonia Nano-Air™ Jacket and Hoody

Innovative lifestyle brand Patagonia take outerwear design to another level as they announce their breakthrough Nano-Air technology Jackets and Hoodies just in time for Fall 2014.

Through years of commitment in research and re-designs, Patagonia have finally unlocked a technology that allows for incredible temperature regulations, whilst still holding the garments fit and allowing for optimum mobility. The highly breathable Nano-Air products combine the brands FullRange™ insulation and nylon fabric to provide warmth and comfort. Not only for use on the mountains, the jackets are lightweight and arrive in a clean, easy to wear design ready for everyday life.

Patagonia climbing ambassador Mikey Schaffer had this to say on the release – “This piece has changed the way I think about dressing for the mountains. With previous insulated jackets, I’d constantly be putting the jacket on at a belay and then taking it off before I started climbing. None of that is necessary with the Nano-Air Jacket. Having such a breathable jacket nearly eliminates the chills you get after sweating hard. The Nano-Air is definitely one of the most versatile jackets I’ve ever worn.”

The Patagonia Nano-Air Jackets and Hoodies are available at www.themountainfactor.com now.
