Vans x Patta “Mean Eyed Cat” Old Skool Collection

 Resurrecting their coveted "Mean Eyed Cat" collab from 2015, Patta and Vans come together to present two new colour ways of the reworked Old Skool for a larger global release. 

 When Patta, Vans and BEAMS first combined on the triple black limited edition pair 2 years ago, only a select few were able to get their hands on a pair of the Japanese exclusives. Maintaining the bold Patta logo print on to the side panels and the “Mean Eyed Cat” text on the midsole, the shoe is now offered up in tonal “True White” or “Black Coffee” colour options this season. Each shoe is detailed with a soft leather jazz stripe, constructed from a premium suede and canvas mix on the upper and finally come complete with custom 'Team Patta' laces. 

 The Vans x Patta “Mean Eyed Cat” Old Skool Collection will be dropping at the brands Amsterdam and London locations on May 27th, and Patta’s webstore on May 29th.

Patta return for Spring/Summer 2017 with another diverse collection which again draws inspiration from numerous themes. As the brand continue to build on their ever popular seasonal releases, the latest instalment aligns with previous offerings while introducing new silhouettes ready for the warmer months and the unpredictable European climate. 

The brands signature logo features heavily throughout alongside various other recognisable logo's, reworked and translated on to the staple silhouettes through to the more considered outerwear pieces and accessories. The colour palette is largely muted, with a mixture of autumnal colours and summer ready pastels, utilising both bold and minimal designs for what is ultimately a highly accessible and wearable collection, with a premium feel.

 You can take a look at key pieces from the release captured in their familiar simplistic studio lookbook shot by Menno Kok. The Patta Spring/Summer 2017 collection is available now at the brands Amsterdam and London locations, as well as online, and will be arriving at select Patta retailers shortly.

Karhu x Patta Synchron Classic

 As classic Finish running brand KARHU continue to celebrate 100 years in providing quality performance footwear, they come together with world renowned, Amsterdam institution Patta on a special collaborative release. 

 The brands Synchron silhouette, which debuted back in the early 80's, is at the centre of the release, receiving a premium update for the holiday season. The style is renowned for its unique lacing system and robust construction which references functional outerwear in its design mixed with an athletic shape built for running.  The upper has been reworked with a forest green nubuck suede on the upper which is mixed with a durable camel coloured mesh for breathability. A pigskin leather lining adds to the premium feel of the shoe while subtle 3M reflective detailing adds functionality. Additional features include embroidered Patta and KARHU branding on the heel, as well as dual branded tags on the tongue. 

Each pair sold at Patta's Amsterdam and London locations will be accompanied by a packable runner jacket made exclusively for the launch of the special release. The jacket has been constructed from a taffeta material and features a water repellent layer, as well as mesh lining and 3M dual branding on the chest

Patta x Thijs Kauffmann Capsule

Patta add another project to their impressive portfolio of collaborative ventures, this time teaming up with Dutch artist Thijs Kauffmann on a concise release highlighting his work. 

Renowned for his experimental work, Thijs Kauffmann draws inspiration from the world around him, using elements from nature such as rocks and beeswax combined with his signature technique to achieve unique structures and textures on the canvas. These works have inspired Patta for this release, applying Kauffmann's unique print to a hoodie and two tees, offered up in blue and grey colour options, with subtle embroidered branding on the tees and a bold red script logo on the hoody.

The Patta x Thijs Kauffmann Capsule Collection will be available in-store at the brands Amsterdam and London locations, as well as online at patta.nl this Saturday the 19th of November.

Patta #SSS Winter 2016 Editorial

Patta have teamed up with the #SSS crew once again to showcase their Winter wears in a new editorial. Enlisting various members of the #SSS alumni, including Violette Esmeralda and Ace Dia on the art direction and Sophie Van Der Perre behind the lens, the team capture Patta's latest collection in a relaxed city setting. Colour seems to be a focus for the editorial, highlighting Autumnal hues of yellow, pink and burgundy, applied across staple styles, heavy shirting, outerwear and accessories. All designs within the release focus on form and function, crafted from premium materials. 

The Patta Winter 2016 collection is available online and in-store at Patta's London and Amsterdam locations now, and will be arriving with select stockists shortly!

Patta and Carhartt WIP Reveal 2016 Lookbook

 Patta and Carhartt WIP have dropped the visuals to their widely anticipated second collaboration for Autumn/Winter 2016.

 This capsule will feature sportive takes on classic Carhartt WIP silhouettes such as the Functional Parka, Broom Vest, Car-Lux Bomber and Nimbus Pullover. Various hues of blues and hits of sand make up the colour palette, with dual branding throughout the collection which is rounded off with basic crewneck sweatshirts, t-shirts and accessories which include the popular watch hats, Essentials bag and tennis socks.

On their official blog Patta have stated: “ The pieces have been interrupted with Patta’s sense of style while keeping the Carhartt WIP DNA intact, aiming to reflect the relationship and respect between the two brands.”

 The collab is set to drop on the 30th of September at Patta and Carhartt stores across Europe.

PATTA Reveal Luggage Range for Autumn/Winter ’16

 Amsterdam based brand PATTA are set to add to their already impressive Autumn/Winter ’16 line by a releasing an ultra-clean luggage range.

 Playing off similar themes and styles they explored with their Summer ’16 luggage range, this drop will include a weekender, duffle, backpack and cross body bag all in a more autumnal olive colourway, each piece also comes adorned with the classic PATTA script.

 The full collection will be dropping this Saturday, the 17th, in-store and online so don’t sleep on it!
