Vans x Gosha Rubchinskiy
It was almost this time last year that Vans teamed up with emerging Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy on a premium rework of the brands iconic Old Skool silhouette. This Spring/Summer the two come together again, this time reworking the classic low profile skate silhouette – the Vans Slip-On.
Rubchinskiy has been gaining quite a following thanks to his inventive streetwear designs, drawing influence from skateboarding and punk, his collections offer up a contemporary twist to more traditional pieces. Having already worked his magic on the iconic old skool silhouette this month, he now turns his attention to the popular slip-on. The latest iterations use a cream coloured canvas base on the upper with an all over ‘rising sun’ graphic print on the toe box and heel. The pack offers up black and red colour options, both of which sit on top of a contrasting white midsole with blue trim detailing.
You can pick up both pairs of the Vans x Gosha Rubchinskiy Slip-Ons over at Dover Street Market now.

Nike SB Free
Nike SB offer up a trio of clean colour options applied to the innovative Nike SB Free silhouette that debuted at the end of 2014.
The Nike SB Free utilises the flexibility and freedom of Nike’s Free sole unit, helping to unlock maximum mobility and allowing for natural movement of the foot. The shoe has been built from the ground up, giving skaters such as Nike pro Sean Malto the potential and freedom needed to increase performance and imagination on the board. The SB Free gives a better grip, balance and feel, as well as providing the protection and durability needed for the rigours of skating.
Sean Malto had this to say on the release;
I can’t cheat in this shoe. The feel coming to me from my feet, on the board and in space during a trick are super enhanced in the SB Free.
The shoe is constructed from a robust suede upper that sits on top of a reinforced white rubber SB Free outsole with gum accents on the bottom unit. Stability is considered through it’s supportive glove-like fit, designed to wrap around the foot, while the zoned ventilation has been added for breathability and comfort.
The Nike SB Free is available now in all 3 colour ways at Urban Industry and size?

Skateboard Cafe Holiday’14 Lookbook
Bristol’s Skateboard Cafe return just in time for the Holiday season with a fresh batch of skate ready goods.
Founded back in 2008 by Rich Smith and Andrew Makepeace, the brand have since gained a serious following from their cafe inspired designs across a range of apparel and decks. This seasons offerings follow similar themes with bold, playful graphics applied to tees, long sleeves, hoodies and coach jackets. The collection is topped off with two colour ways in the Skateboard Cafe logo umbrella and a selection of decks. Our highlight from the release is the ‘$5 shake’ tee inspired by Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction, featuring a still from the famous diner scene and John Travolta’s “God Damn that’s a pretty fucking good milkshake’ line in subtle lettering on the back
One thing we love about Skateboard Cafe is that they don’t take themselves too seriously and this is translated through their designs and light hearted visuals. Accompanying the lookbook and once again using scenes from Pulp Fiction, they have put together a short teaser advert featuring team riders – Korahn Gayle, Shaun Currie, Mike Arnold, Josh Arnott and Harry Ogilvie, as well as Danny Wainwright who will have special guest appearance. The video also offers a sneak peak of an edit from the team arriving in January of next year, so keep your eyes peeled for that one!
The Skateboard Cafe Holiday 2014 collection is available now at the brands online store HERE and also at Fifty Fifty
