New Balance ‘Made in Flimby’ 35th Anniversary Pack

 

 In celebrating 35 years of quality manufacturing at the brands Flimby factory, New Balance have unveiled 4 new colour-ways of their popular 1500, 991, 770, and Epic-TR silhouettes. 

 The 4-styles were chosen to receive a premium material rework - applying nubuck, mesh and leather in a mix of blues, white and greys as a nod to one of the brands classic colour treatments. Each pair has been carefully hand-crafted at the Flimby factory and features subtle detailing including embroidered branding, tonal lacing, contrasting white sole units and a special '35th anniversary' label stitched in to the tongue. 

 The New Balance 'Made in Flimby' 35th Anniversary Pack is available now, in limited quantities, at select retailers including End. and Hanon.

New Balance and Stance present ‘First Of All’

 

 San Clemente and Boston unite, as Stance socks and New Balance present the first instalment of an ongoing collaborative series for 2017, dubbed ‘First of All’. 

 Comprised of two unique reworks of New Balance's 997 and 1978 silhouettes, the limited edition release sees Boston-based artist Matthew Zaremba and Southern California-based artist Mark Oblow add their artwork to the visuals to tell the story of the collaboration.

The Boston inspired 997 takes cues from the cities famed brownstone architecture with a copper rose and tan upper, detailed with a debossed 'cobblestone' pattern on the leather accents on the heel, and finished with a subtle reflective teal underlay to represent the patina copper often found on the buildings. The 997 have been paired with a Stance 144 Needle crew sock, constructed from a premium cotton and presented in a complimenting colour palette. 

 The 1978 arrives in a slate blue and tan pig suede on the upper, broken up with a stark white Vibram sole unit, to act as a nod to the famed beaches and surf breaks of San Clemente. Accompanying the shoe is another pair of the Stance 144 Needle crew sock, with added athletic stripes to align with the shoe rework. 

 Both pairs are Made in the USA styles and feature map graphics of their respective coasts on the sole inserts, as well as the coordinates of each area, which can be found in the welt cuff of the socks.

 You can pick up both the 1978 and the 997 at selected retailers including END., Hanon and Footpatrol now.

Converse x Carhartt WIP Chuck Taylor All Star ’70s

 

 Two icons come together this season, as Carhartt WIP and Converse combine for the first time ever to produce three new iterations of the classic Chuck Taylor All Star 70's silhouette. 

 Inspired by Carhartt's workwear roots with a nod to military aesthetic, the ever popular low top style has been updated with WIP's signature utilitarian fabrics - drill, canvas and ripstop, which have been applied to the upper of each respective colour way. Offered up in off-white, brown and tiger camo print, each pair features off-white lacing and subtle red detailing on the outsole.

The Converse & Carhartt WIP Chuck Taylor All Star '70s collab is dropping on the Carhartt WIP web store and Converse’s web store, as well as selected retailers including size? on June the 1st.

Vans x Patta “Mean Eyed Cat” Old Skool Collection

 

 Resurrecting their coveted "Mean Eyed Cat" collab from 2015, Patta and Vans come together to present two new colour ways of the reworked Old Skool for a larger global release. 

 When Patta, Vans and BEAMS first combined on the triple black limited edition pair 2 years ago, only a select few were able to get their hands on a pair of the Japanese exclusives. Maintaining the bold Patta logo print on to the side panels and the “Mean Eyed Cat” text on the midsole, the shoe is now offered up in tonal “True White” or “Black Coffee” colour options this season. Each shoe is detailed with a soft leather jazz stripe, constructed from a premium suede and canvas mix on the upper and finally come complete with custom 'Team Patta' laces. 

 The Vans x Patta “Mean Eyed Cat” Old Skool Collection will be dropping at the brands Amsterdam and London locations on May 27th, and Patta’s webstore on May 29th.

Converse x Undefeated One Star

 

 Steeped in West Coast culture, Undefeated have been a staple in the global streetwear and sneaker scene since its inception back in 2002. To celebrate the brands rich history, Converse have teamed up with Undefeated for a limited-edition rework of the One Star silhouette this season, which arrives in two simplistic colour options.

Aligning with Undefeated's signature aesthetic, the release draws inspiration from sports and military themes, applying a subtle off-white and a fatigue green to the soft brushed suede uppers. The shoe is finished with a tonal leather lining, five-strike branding de-bossed on to the tongue and the iconic blue and red piping on the midsole, which is completed with the classic red outsole , heel stamp and co-branded insole. 

The Converse x Undefeated One Star will be available from Thursday 11th May at select retailers and online at www.converse.com

Goodhood x Vans “Equal | Opposite” pack.

 

In celebrating 10 years since the store first opened it's doors, Goodhood have combined with Vans to mark the occasion with a special collaborative release inspired by Newton’s third law - “for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction".

 Comprised of two updated Sk8-Hi silhouettes and a new take on the classic Authentic, the Goodhood logo is used extensively throughout, patterned on to all three styles which arrive in black/white and white/off-white colour options. Each shoe has been constructed from a mix of soft leather and durable canvas on the upper, completed with custom Goodhood lacing, a subtle 'Equal/Opposite' print on the midsole and of course the Vans signature waffle outsole construction.
