Butter Goods Showcase Impressive SP16 Collection

Australian skate brand Butter Goods have recently released some impressive visuals for their Spring 2016 range.

The look-book is shot in the brand’s hometown of Perth and features some incredibly clean designs; mixing familair silhouettes alongside some newly introduced graphics, translated on to staple styles such as hoodies, polo caps, and crewnecks. Although the collection has been produced with Australian Spring in mind, most items could easily be carried through in to a UK Autumn, sticking to a simplistic colour palette throughout and keeping logo styles minimal.

This collection is available now over at Butter Goods online store so you can expect the release to be landing at UK retailers shortly.

Hélas Spring 2016 Quickstrike Collection

Hélas have come through with a new Quickstrike collection for Spring featuring a range of seasonal casual wear perfect for the park or the streets.

Hélas have grown their line considerably over the last couple of years, expanding their cut & sew options by introducing new outerwear pieces as well as the introduction of several trouser styles, and their latest release again sees development from the French skate brand. You've got the expected graphic tees bearing the brands umbrella and polo club designs, sitting alongside embroidered logo hoodies and sweaters,  while they take casual wear to new levels with soft nylon tracksuit bottoms and matching 'Olympic Squad' tracksuit jacket. The stand out piece from the collection for us is the Classic Coach jacket, made from a robust cotton twill with marble button and embroidered logo detailing, available in black and navy colour options. The collection is rounded off with another strong headwear selection, which features polo caps and 6 panels which utilise light cotton twill and corduroy in their construction.

The Hélas Spring 2016 Quickstrike collection is available online now and will be landing in select retailers shortly. Hélas are also set to drop a new clip soon with the Hélas Polo Club so be sure to keep an eye out for that.

HUF Spring 2016 Video Lookbook

HUF Spring 16 Video Lookbook

LA giants HUF have unveiled the visuals for their Spring 2016 apparel and footwear collection, showcasing the collection against a picturesque backdrop of the American outdoors.

The short video lookbook shot by Brandon Kuzma follows a group of friends as they embark on road trip through Sierra Nevada, capturing key pieces from the brands latest release alongside spectacular landscapes, camp fires and pool clubs. The collection itself draws inspiration from a variety of sources, citing US military and classic American-infused workwear as key influences in the design. The stand out Golden Tiger Stripe Camo continues to feature heavily throughout this release, while iconic patchwork bandana prints act as a further nod towards heritage American garments. It looks as though we can expect to see updates on some of the staple HUF silhouettes and logo designs, alongside some more athletic inspired pieces with a streetwear sensibility. Within the release we also find the highly anticipated SPAM collab, as well as more pieces from the brands ongoing project with online skateboard publication SLAP Magazine.

In terms of footwear, the video indicates that the new Dylan slip-on and Brad Cromer’s debut pro-model are going to be a big focus’ for the brand this year . We also see glimpses of the hugely popular Classic Lo silhouette, as well as new rework of the Classic Hi, working with British Millerain Co. on a waterproof version of the skate ready style.
