Yardsale Autumn/Winter 2016 Lookbook

London's Yardsale have dropped a new set of visuals showcasing their latest wares for the colder months.

 The Autumn/Winter collection blends various influences throughout, with a recognisably 90's aesthetic - drawing inspiration from classic american sportswear and translating this on the more considered cut & sew options which include light jackets and quart zip pullovers. Yardsale also give a nod to their British heritage, referencing traditional style pieces with the addition of classic materials such as velour and corduroy, and applying a rich colour palette of burgundy and navy on key pieces. The brands popular signature logo features heavily throughout, emblazoned across various styles including tees, crewneck jumpers, Harrington jackets and caps.

Blacksmith Winter 2016 Lookbook

 London based Blacksmith Store combine with in-demand photographer Vicky Grout on this simplistic lookbook, showcasing their latest offerings from the stores in-house line for Winter 2016. 

The collection draws inspiration from "a wealth of nostalgic British subculture and anti-establishment iconography", giving a nod towards the cultural deterioration of Great Britain. Blacksmith channel the anguish and aggression manifested amongst UK's youth, while referencing niche 80's and 90's movements in music and film, and these themes have been translated on to graphics tees, hoodies and embroidered headwear. The collection is rounded off with a concise range of carefully constructed outerwear as the brand combines with sportswear giants Champion on light hooded rain jackets and block coloured quarter zip pullovers.

SAYHELLO Autumn/Winter 2016 Lookbook

 Tokyo's SAY HELLO are back with a brand new offering for the colder months which is showcased in their latest set of visuals for Autumn/Winter 2016.

 The collection aligns with their previous release, utilising reworked logo designs which have been printed and embroidered across staple pieces including, tees, long sleeves, hoodies and a selection of headwear. The brand has expanded their range to include various outerwear options, with the stand outs being the lined coach jackets with subtle embroidered branding and lightweight hooded rain jackets.

Patta x Thijs Kauffmann Capsule

Patta add another project to their impressive portfolio of collaborative ventures, this time teaming up with Dutch artist Thijs Kauffmann on a concise release highlighting his work. 

Renowned for his experimental work, Thijs Kauffmann draws inspiration from the world around him, using elements from nature such as rocks and beeswax combined with his signature technique to achieve unique structures and textures on the canvas. These works have inspired Patta for this release, applying Kauffmann's unique print to a hoodie and two tees, offered up in blue and grey colour options, with subtle embroidered branding on the tees and a bold red script logo on the hoody.

The Patta x Thijs Kauffmann Capsule Collection will be available in-store at the brands Amsterdam and London locations, as well as online at patta.nl this Saturday the 19th of November.

BornxRaised Drop Autumn 2016 Look-Book

LA based streetwear brand BornxRaised stay true to their roots with the new visuals for their Autumn 2016 collection.

The lookbook is shot in and around Venice Beach and shows a grittier, juxtaposing side to a place which is usually photographed from a tourist’s perspective. Aligning with the brands signature LA aesthetic, the collection itself features a range of graphic tee’s, pullovers, caps adorned with familair logo designs from the brand. The release also sees BornxRaised develop their cut & sew department with a range of work-wear inspired outerwear and shirt options, all of which have been constructed from robust materials with a focus towards fit and feel.

Sadly, the collection isn't available in the UK just yet however it’s already dropped on BornxRaised’s webstore so head there if you don’t want to wait for it to hit British retailers!

Goodhood Drop Winter 2016 Editorial “Ultra”

 Dressing for Winter can be difficult, and more often than not style is swapped out in favour of warmth and practicality. Thankfully London institution Goodhood have got you covered as they put together their Winter ’16 editorial to help us beat the cold in style.

The "Ultra" editorial features Dorain Lutz and Elliot Powers from music collective NuBrain modelling the garments, shot against the backdrop of the group’s own East London recording studio. The visuals showcase key pieces from Godhood’s winter range including brands such as Converse, Our Legacy, Dickies, NEIGHBORHOOD and Gosha Rubchinskiy, utilized in a series of well layered and outwear-focused looks.

All the clothing featured in the editorial is now available online and at Goodhood’s brick and mortar store.

Stanton Street Sports Autumn/Winter 2016 Lookbook

 Stanton Street Sports have unveiled the visuals for their new Autumn/Winter 2016 collection, shot by Dylan Schiff & Ezekiel Martinez. 

 Keeping the designs pretty low-key throuhgout, from the minimal graphics and predominantly black colour palette, the release centres around the outerwear selection comprised of rain macs and quarter zip pullovers. With pops of fluorescent yellow and dark navy on selected pieces, the collection is bulked out with tees, long-sleeves hoodies, caps and beanies which bear familiar logo designs from previous seasons, all drawing influence from the brands native Lower East Side. 

 The Stanton Street Sports AW16 collection is now available online at onlyny.com and will be arriving at select European retailers shortly.
