Last week we were lucky enough to visit the Saucony Originals “Story of Running’ store and get a bit more of a closer look into what there is on offer at the brands first ever London store.
Following the shop launch, Saucony this week announce 3 collabs, that have up until now been unseen on European soil.
Saucony have linked up once again with California retailer BAIT to give us the second model from the “Cruel World” series. Made entirely from Vegan materials, the BAIT x Saucony Originals “Cruel World 2” arrives in a brand new black, red and off-white colour ways that continue the shoes earthly theme. As if the model couldn’t get better, proceeds from sales will go towards the American Cancer Society to help with research and treatments. A great shoe, helping a great cause.
The second limited release sees Russian brand Anteater offer their take on the Jazz Original silhouette. Named Sea and Sand, the block colours reflects that of the beach as the blue of the Sea meets the Beige of the sand. The upper is made from a mix of Suede and Nylon and the shoe also features a white midsole and gum outsole. The TR-type laces have been taken from the Jazz low-pro model to complete the trainers clean aesthetic.
Finally we have the UBIQ X Saucony “Dirty Martini”. The ever popular Grid 9000 has had a rework by footwear destination UBIQ, as they draw inspiration from the cocktail classic. The shoe features a black and green suede upper, while the colour way is completed with orange detailing.
All 3 of the limited edition releases will be available from the Saucony Originals store (address below) from 6 p.m on March the 27th.
