Parra launches Homeware Line

Popular Dutch street artist Parra has stepped in to the world of homeware with an array of clean designs.

Aside from his art, Parra has cracked the streetwear and skateboarding markets with his ‘By Parra’ and ‘Tired Skateboards’ ventures, and having tried his hand at various lifestyle pieces in the past, it is now time for Parra to apply his surreal curvy post-pop imagery to a selection of practical and decorative homeware goods. The line is a natural extension of the Parra’s clothing designs, consisting of tea towels, sofa throws, table cloths, cushion covers and door mats, all of which emblazoned with his iconic artwork. Fan favourites from previous projects including the ““Vaso di Culo” vase and the “Sleep Deprived” carpet also make an appearance in a collection which is high in quality with all pieces constructed in Europe. The tea-towels have been made by the Dutch Textile Museum and various other pieces have been manufactured by one of Belgium’s oldest weaving mills. Keeping the designs subtle throughout, and sticking to light grey’s, red, off-white and black, it’s a homeware collection that would work with most homes interior colour schemes.
