Indcsn Holiday 2015 Lookbook

indcsn have teamed up with in-demand photographer Vicky Grout for their Holiday 2015 visuals, capturing their latest release against an East London backdrop.

The latest release from the leeds based brand continues to keep things simple throughout, with minimal logo detailing, staple silhouettes and a monochromatic colour palette with pops of red here and there. Keeping it concise, the collection is comprised of empty box-logo tees, embroidered polo caps and patch detailed beanies, alongside some more considered pieces in the brushed cotton plaid shirt and sleek all black varsity jacket bearing the brands 'Forget The Rest' slogan. Although it's nothing groundbreaking from indcsn, it's good to see the UK brand continue to build off their renowned aesthetic, playing to their strengths and producing quality over quantity.

The indcsn Holiday 2015 collection is available now at www.indcsn.com

LCS-FP-R800-Artisan-9

Footpatrol x Le Coq Sportif Made in France R800 ‘Artisan’

Hot on the heels of the "Only In Tokyo" collab with BEAMS and Saucony last month, London's Footpatrol round off the year with another solid footwear release, this time teaming up with Le Coq Sportif on the R800 'Artisan'.

Teaming up with the French sportswear label for the third time, Footpatrol look to the brands newly introduced 'Made In France' line in which LCS celebrate their rich heritage and commitment to their unique manufacturing process of their most iconic running styles. Pulling the form fitting R800 silhouette from the archive, Footpatrol pay homage to the skilled craftsmen/craftswomen across Western Europe who are dedicated to their trade, and who in this case, continue to devote their skills to producing high quality footwear by hand in France.

For the aptly named 'Artisan' release, the R800 has been dressed in a perforated dress blue leather on the upper, accented with a smooth nubuck on the heel and medial panels. The blue is contrasted with tan leather detailing on the shoes lining and laser-engraved dual-branded tongue detailing. The premium upper sits on top of an off white sole unit and complimenting gum outsole. Every pair arrives with three sets of laces for customisation, including a dress blue flat lace, multi-coloured flat lace and a full grain tan leather lace, and arrives in a custom wooden shoe box which includes a set of wooden shoe trees, leather shoe cream, buffing cloth and shoe brush.

The Footpatrol x Le Coq Sportif Made in France R800 'Artisan' is set to drop this Friday the 18th December exclusively at Footpatrol.

Magenta Skateboards SS16 “AIME” Lookbook

Magenta have come through with a slightly unexpected, yet more than welcome, cut & sew line dubbed "AIME" ready for Spring/Summer 2016.

Although its been a theme for more and more skate brands to try their hand at cut & sew of late, there's not many who have produced something as far removed from their main line and as well executed in the way that Magenta have in this collection. It's apparent that every aspect of design, from the cut, the colour palette and even down to the visuals have been considered, giving the line a strong identity of its own, one that represents quality clothing for those who prefer something slightly more formal than the staple graphic tee. There's definitely a French sensibility towards their design as well. The collection features light weight linen button-up shirts and linen pants in various earthy colour treatments, a very European take on smart/causal wear. Washed out burgundy, navy, black and off-white make up the colour palette for the rest of the release in which we see lightweight chore jackets, fitted long-sleeve t-shirts and polo shirts, rounded off with a selection of accessories which includes a practical messenger bag.

The Magenta Skateboards "AIME" collection is set to hit retailers in February of next year so be sure to keep an eye on their social for updates. For now enjoy the lookbook above and head over to their site to shop their current range.

Carhartt WIP FW15

Carhartt WIP Fall/Winter 2015 Lookbook

Carhartt WIP team up with Irish photographer Joshua Gordon and British artist Tim Head for an artistic approach to their Fall/Winter visuals.

Continuing to develop the heritage workwear brand's street level 'Work In Progress' range, the collection delivers simplistic workwear shapes, updated for the modern wearer, offering quality, comfort and durability throughout. It's a diverse range which takes a focus towards the outerwear line, with various options including parka jackets and bomber silhouettes. Alongside the heavier cut & sew styles you will find more staple pieces in the bold graphic tees, camo print hoodies and casual checked shirts, as well as a small selection of headwear. The simplicity and minimalism of the clothing is reflected through Gordon's black and white imagery which is brought to life with the decorative scrawls from Tim Head, reminiscent of the Automatic Drawing style from the likes of Jean Arp, with inspiration drawn from the DIY hardcore zines and lo-fi aesthetic of the early 90's.

You can find out more on the brand and shop the latest from Carhartt WIP over on their webstore now. Be sure to check the interview with artist Tim Head on the campaigns art direction HERE
