Having worked on previous commissions for the likes of Dice and Sideburn magazine, Maxwell TS’ playful yet dark themes meet Edwin’s innovative approach to ‘new vintage’ clothing. With a strong passion for the spiritual and surreal, the Edwin X Alexander Binder t-shirt features a mystical and ethereal photograph design. Both pieces are made from irregular cotton yarn jersey and include additional graphic details on each arm.

“Working with Watershed was great because it was a true collaboration – both Quiet Life and Watershed brought ideas to each other and we worked well together as a group to make each other’s ideas stronger and unified. It was a fun project as it involved all of my favourite things – creating new graphics, developing a unique cut and sew collection, and introducing two new garments to Quiet Life – the beach zip up and the beach shorts”.

BWGH for PUMA

PUMA link up with David Obadia and Nelson Hassan, founders of French label Brooklyn We Go Hard (BWGH) for yet another exciting collaboration, celebrating the pairs love for the brand.

Combining PUMA’s rich heritage with BWGH’s Parisian style, the collection includes the XS850 and XS698 (a hybrid of the XS850 and R698) silhouettes. The 90’s runners featuring PUMA’s Trinomic technology create a sporty yet sophisticated style and arrive in an array of colour treatments from colour blocking to the XS850 x BWGH all over CAMO print.

PUMA and BWGH continue to combine sport with style in the apparel collection as they use BWGH’s patterns and measurement charts to ensure designs have a more considered fit. The collection applies colour in a more understated manner, with colour blocking once again used, whilst an Ombre treatment is applied to sweaters which also feature the JOY graphic in BWGH’s famous boucle finish. Key pieces see the use of all over CAMO print once again, as it is applied to tees and technical outerwear.

KR3W x Niagara Preview

For this Autumn/Winter, skateboarding apparel specialists KR3W link up with artist and musician Niagara to produce a limited range of tees and sweaters.

Having founded, fronted and been a part of several bands in her time, Niagara utilised her art school experience to produce album art and promotional materials for her bands Destroy All Monsters / Dark Carnival. Through this she found her style, combining illustration with collages and pop iconography, a style which she carried through to the 90’s as she began to host small exhibitions and cafe shows in the Detroit area. Soon to follow were high profile exhibits around the world and the title of “The Queen of Detroit” was given to her by many art periodicals. Her standout piece, ‘The Niagara Girl’ represents a certain feminist swagger with her drop dead gorgeous looks and an equally dangerous demeanour.

Check out product images from the first of many unique collaborations from KR3W above and below, which highlights a selection of graphic tees and hooded sweaters from the KR3W X Niagara collection. For more information on KR3W be sure to visit kr3wdenim.com

PUMA x Size? ‘Wilderness Pack’ Drop 1

PUMA link up with yet another big name as they present the Wilderness pack for summer 2014. We take a look at drop one from the German shoe giants collaboration with size?, as they release details on the R698 ‘Sahara’ and XS850 ‘ Inner City’.

With a range of high profile releases behind them this year already, the first drop in the Wilderness Pack offers something slightly different as they take inspiration from harsh terrain environments.

Inspired by the barren desert, the R698 ‘Sahara’ resembles the dry landscape through its use of suede on the upper and sand speckled midsole. The shoe features high levels of detailing throughout including a leather toe box, as well as blue and cacti green colour accents on the inner and heel tab.

The XS850 is another 90’s re-issue, originally released as a running shoe. The shoe provides maximum stability and comfort, with design features that equips the wearer for survival in the street. The black leather upper and 3M mesh combines with the yellow inner and green tab detailing to reflect the city landscape.

The PUMA x Size? ‘Wilderness Pack’ drop one will be available in-store at Size? from the 21st of June and other selected retailers from the 12th of July. Keep an eye out for information on the second drop to follow!
