This Spring/Summer 2014 sees adidas consortium bring together two street wear giants and long term partners of adidas, Undefeated and Neighbourhood, to produce a small yet slick collection.
UNDFTD’s fashion forward, athletic approach and NBHD’s premium cut focus compliment each other perfectly in a range that features two shoe models and a t-shirt arriving in two colour ways.
The first of the two shoe models is the Micropacer. Originally released 30 years ago, a vintage runner including features that really pushed the boundaries of innovation, with a concealed computer in its tongue. The all black colour way allows the focus to be on the materials and graphics used, with NBHD taking control of the graphic touches that sit on a premium leather upper and a smooth leather lining.
The second silhouette is the Official Mid 80’s which saw both brands taking care of what they do best, UNDFTD looking after the design concept whilst NBHD worked on material and graphics. The shoe features a long-haired suede upper, soft leather tongue and heel and smooth leather lining. Again arriving in a mostly black colour way the Official Mid 80’s feature white UNDFTD and NBHD branding, as well as a adidas’s French sign off ‘la marque aux 3 bandes’.
