Nike ACG Wildwood

One of the cleanest silhouettes to emerge from Nike’s ACG (All Conditions Gear) range and also one of the original releases, is the ACG Wildwood which debuted back in 1989. This Autumn/Winter sees new colour ways in the versatile outdoor shoe and they have arrived at Bristol’s 5Pointz.

The shoes feature a leather and nubuck mix on the upper which sits on top of a polyurethane midsole which homes the Air-sole unit providing added cushioning and support. The shoe lives up to its ‘All Conditions’ title with the ‘sawtooth’ grip across the toe area, providing extra grip and stability when tackling harsh terrain.

The pair in focus is the ‘Cargo Khaki/Hyper Pink’ colour option which combines earthy tones on the upper with the more vibrant pink and blue detailing on the tongue, sole and swoosh.

Nike at Peggs and Son

Brighton’s beloved Peggs and Son highlight the arrival of four key styles from Nike in their latest set of images by Brighton based creative Jack Stocker.

Combining Nike’s famous Air technology and the latest Lunarlon sole innovation, the Air Max Lunar1 receives an OG colour treatment, whilst the Lunar90 Jacquard arrives in a bold, futuristic colour palette. Both offering unrivalled comfort, mesh panels have been added for breathability, whilst the Air Max Lunar1 has been constructed with Nike’s Hyperfuse technology for a robust, durable finish.

The Air Max 180, a firm favourite here at bythelevel, offers a slightly slimmer shape with the latest release arriving with a black nubuck suede and neoprene mix upper, with turquoise leather pops on the heel. Sitting on top of a speckled midsole and waffle outsole, the shoe is completed with a crimson swoosh.

Last but not least, the Air Max 93 also receives an OG treatment as the original ‘Menthol’ colour way is applied. Originally designed as the Air Max 270 due to the shoes wrap around air bubble at the rear of the sole. The shoes upper is made from predominantly from premium leather but features hints of nubuck suede and mesh. The shoes neoprene sock liner allows for a glove like fit, keeping the foot snug inside the shoe.

Nike Air Max Lunar1

Nike’s forward thinking design process has seen the brand place itself proudly at the top of footwear innovation for many years now. Having introduced the world to a revolution in comfort with the Nike Air all the way back in 1987, Nike now apply the latest Lunarlon technology to one of their most iconic silhouettes – the Air Max 1.

As the Air technology did back in the 80’s, the Lunarlon will once again redefine cushioning in footwear more than two decades later. Introducing two colour ways, including the OG, in the lightest Air Max to date, the shoe takes a new twist as the Air Max bubble is combined with the Lunarlon foam sole to create a new classic. Again pushing the boundaries of innovation, the upper features no-sew mesh panelling allowing for breathability and once again maintaining their commitment to lightweight comfort.

The Air Max Lunar1 is available now at nike.com and selected Nike retailers.
