Palace Skateboards ‘Mid-Season’ Collection

On the eve of one of the most significant events in UK skate and fashion this year, we take a look at the Palace Skateboards ‘Mid-Season’ offering that is set to drop tomorrow, coinciding with the opening of the brands first ever retail store.

The last few weeks has seen the internet ablaze with rumours and eventually confirmation of Palace’s flagship store opening in London’s Brewer Street of Soho. Following their hugely popular release earlier this season, the skate powerhouse have continued to gather even more momentum and have now unveiled their latest collection which have been showcased in their latest lookbook, once again featuring team rider Blondey McCoy.

Again progressive in design and retrospective in its inspiration, the ‘Mid-Season’ release introduces several new styles including Italian made work pant and chino offerings, track suits, colour blocked Scottish made knitwear, Japanese selvedge denim and premium outerwear pieces that include a wool bomber and over shirts made in the UK. Palace align with their street ready aesthetic with a range of graphic based tees, hoodies and coach jackets, featuring updated renditions of the iconic tri-logo and trailblazers designs, as well as a new headwear drop of caps and bucket hats.

In addition to the latest collection the shop will also be carrying records and skateboards, and will be open everyday from Saturday the 25th of April. The Palace Skateboards ‘Mid-Seaon’ Collection will be available at the brands flagship store from tomorrrow…

Butter Goods Winter 2015

Butter Goods Winter 2015 Lookbook

Perth based independent skate label Butter Goods return with their latest set of lo-fi visuals to showcase their Winter 2015 collection.

While many try to over complicate things in their design, its nice to see a brand stick to their guns, keep things simple and continuously improve their own unique aesthetic. Their latest release for Winter 2015 (reverse seasons down under!) is comprised largely of what we’ve come to expect from the brand, with a range of skate ready basics including tees, long sleeves and hoodies, as well as a strong selection of headwear and jacketing options. The collection is heavily graphic based applying simple yet bold designs and reworks of the brands globe logo, with several colour blocked and embroidered pieces in the outerwear section. Thanks to the mild winter down under, the release has got you covered for the British summer also with a selection of caps and bucket hats suitable for the warmer weather.

Check out the lookbook above shot by James Whineray and Garth Mariano on the streets of Downtown Perth. Be sure to head over to www.buttergoods.com for more information on the brand or to shop the collection. The Butter Goods Winter 2015 drops tomorrow (25th of April) in store at selected stockists and online from April 29th.
