Lost ART x Nike SB present “The Old and the New of Liverpool City” Pack

Liverpool’s Lost ART make their love for their home city known as they link up with Nike SB to explore “The Old and the New of Liverpool City”, with two collaborative styles of the Bruin and the BA silhouettes.

The shoe collaboration sees the two camps solidify their already strong relationship, with the independent store one of the first UK stockist for SB and remaining a key door for the brand till this day.

Lost ART draw inspiration from the cities iconic ‘Docklands’ and derelict LOR (Liverpool Overhead Railway) system, both of which have played a huge part in shaping Liverpool’s history, while also paying homage to cultural diversity and rich heritage of the area.

With the classic Bruin representing the ‘Old’ of the city, references come from the colour and materials applications of the LOR guards uniforms. Constructed from a rich pigskin suede, the shoes upper arrives in all-over black with hits of red and yellow on the mismatched swoosh branding. There is additional wool panelling on the heel counter, a contrasting white sole unit and tongue, with exclusive artwork on the insole to celebrate the release. The ‘New’ SB BA gets more of a modern rework with vibrant red on the heel and teal on the mid-foot meeting with a grey toe box, as a representation of the landscape that surrounds the infamous Docks. The BA silhouette sits on top of a clean white midsole and gum outsole.

Lost Art Skate Shop x Nike SB “The Old and the New of Liverpool City” pack will be dropping exclusively at lostartshop.co.uk on March 14th followed by a global release on March 21st.

Vans x AntiHero

Vans x Anti-Hero 20th Anniversary Collection

Celebrating 20 years of rich skateboarding heritage, two giants come together on a collaborative collection this Spring. Anti-Hero are one of the most respected brands to ever do it, renowned for their iconic board graphics and influential team riders, some of which they share with Vans. As two brands who are responsible for so much in the development of Skateboarding and the history they share together, it seems right that the pair have come together to mark the occasion.

Anti-Hero’s story started in 1995. Founded by Julien Stranger back when the industry was small and the companies involved were pretty much all skater owned, doing it for the love of skateboarding rather than financial gain. Born out of the desire to create a way of living rather than a quick way to make money, the name ‘Anti-Hero’ is appropriate with Stranger pretty much ‘Anti’ everything at the time, something he expressed publicly through his ads and board graphics. The brand represents the way in which the youth of skateboarding lived their life and it has carried this ethos through to modern day, one of the realest skate brands out there.

The 20th Anniversary collection offers up dual branded rework on four key pro models including the Era 46 Pro, Slip-On 59 Pro and the Sk8-Mid Pro, featuring the pro heel tab, ULTRCUSH insoles for support and comfort, DURACAP reinforcements in the toe area for protection, as well as suede applications on the upper for durability and grip. The release also debuts Tony Trujillo’s sixth generation Vans signature pro model – the TNT SG. The TNT SG Anti-Hero rework is characterised by the brands iconic print on the mid foot and lock up graphic on the tongue label. Additional features include the Anti-Hero labelling, original waffle outsole and Vans Ortholite sockliner for comfort.

The collection is rounded off with a concise apparel selection featuring dual branded tees in white and black, snapback and coach jacket. The Vans x Anti-Hero 20th Anniversary Collection is available now at vans.co.uk and selected Vans retailers.

Asics Tiger x Packer 'Dirty Buck'

Asics Tiger x Packer Gel Lyte III “Dirty Buck”

As part of the Gel Lyte III’s 25th anniversary celebrations, Asics Tiger link up with Packer to offer their creative take on the iconic runner in the “Dirty Buck” pack.

The New Jersey boutiques iteration of the Gel Lyte III follows Mita Sneakers of Tokyo’s ‘Far East’ effort that dropped earlier this year, Packer’s take is slightly more toned down version of the silhouette. Taking inspiration from the classic dress shoe which holds the same name ‘Dirty Buck’, the rework arrives in a premium taupe coloured suede construction on the upper, with white leather hits on the tongue and a kind of toast-like colouring on the lining and heel cup. Additional features include the embossed Packer logo on the heel and tonal laces, all of which sits on top of a dusty brick midsole that is reminiscent of the original ‘Dirty Buck’ shoe.

PUMA Primary OG Pack

As part of the brands CREAM programme, PUMA look once again to their classic Blaze of Glory silhouette, this time to give it a nostalgic rework in the Primary OG pack.

The Blaze of Glory is a true 90’s favourite in the running department having shot to fame for its functional features, including PUMA’s cushioning Trinomic technology. Its sleek, form fitting shape quickly caught the attention of the street and became a favourite for sneaker lovers, even more so in this retro runner resurgence of late.

Having gained a lot of interest in 2014, most notably from the Marble and Tech pack last year, the Blaze of Glory is offered up in another impressive rendition, utilising a predominantly white upper and applying hits of blocked colouring on the shoes lining and toe area. The upper is decked out in a mix of nylon and perforated leather, with nubuck overlays and an enhanced tonal TPU on the exo-skeletal lace system. Arriving in deep violet and black colour options, each pair is complimented with 3M detailing and both sit on top of an off-white Trinomic midsole.

The PUMA Primary OG pack is available now at Well GoshUrban Industry and END.
