Introducing S.O.O.N (Something Out Of Nothing) SS14 Lookbook

London’s S.O.O.N (Something Out Of Nothing) present their first ever collection as they introduce a range of summer staples, highlighted in their new SS14 lookbook and complimenting zine.

The release features a selection of street wear classics including graphic tees and long sleeves, printed hoodies and headwear, as well as cut and sew items such as the quilted coach jacket and all over print sweat shorts. Each print within the collection is hand pulled at S.O.O.N’s studio in Hackney, London.

The brands founder and designer, Johnny Grant had this to say on the brand and its inaugural collection…

“The name of the brand is the embodiment of my own experience and attitude towards building a career within the cre- ative industries; starting from nothing and grafting your way up to something using the resources you have. S.O.O.N was conceived to represent an accessible ideology that it’s audience can relate to. We’re responsive to youth culture and here to inspire and support a hustle-and-grind generation.”

London-based Percival provide a contemporary take on traditional jersey clothing for their latest collection for Spring/Summer 2014.

The historical area of Greenwich provides the backdrop for the visuals as they highlight key pieces from the collection, including the crew neck raglan sweater, the Breton jersey and the stripe panel cut and sew tee. With a focus on quality materials and loose fitting cuts, the collection offers a comfortable option for both summer days and nights.

Having stepped onto the streetwear scene back in 2013, Nicce London have quickly made a name for themselves with their clean, ready-to-wear designs.

Summer 2014 sees the brand continue to develop its range but still focus on its disciplines of originally designed, quality apparel. Garbstore ‘South Shelter’ Spring/Summer 2015 look book preview

Londons Garbstore give us a glimpse into the future as they offer a preview of their Spring/Summer of 2015 collection with their ‘South Shelter’ lookbook.

Garbstore are known for providing a modern twist to familiar garments that reference the past, and this ethos continues into Summer 2015. The collection sees Garbstore take inspiration from construction and the idea of layering to create strength. The versatile lookbook showcases several key pieces, styled by adding layers and mixing pattern. Japanese woven Jacquard is a key feature, receiving extra dying treatments to add to their appearance, whilst Hemp replaces cotton throughout the collection. The collection receives a summery treatment with the inclusion of daisy, palm tree and tropical prints, adding a playful theme to the range.

Key pieces include the Maintenance Jacket crafted out of vintage fabric with oil paint detailing and an illustrative printed tee, in which the ‘South Shelter’ title is derived from.

Nike SB – ‘Brotherhood of the Feet’ event – Pop-up skate park

Skateboarding meets football as Nike Phenomenal House opens its doors to the public to celebrate the ‘Brotherhood of the feet’ campaign.

With a summer of football ahead of us Nike SB have set up a pop-up, football inspired skatepark paying homage to London’s love of the game. Alongside skating you can check out Marcel Veldman’s photographic exhibition from the Nike SB teams recent trip to Brazil.

The unique, action packed celebration begins on the 28th of May running until the 31st. Be sure to head down and skate the park whilst immersing yourself in the worlds greatest game. The event is free and will be held at the following address….

Independent premium street wear brand London Goods Supply Co. release their Spring/Summer 2014 range along with an impressive accompanying look book.

Having launched their debut collection back in December of last year, the Londoners return with a concise range featuring clean designs and a high quality focus. With 12 designs in all, the collection includes long sleeves, american style tall tees, raglan tees and shorts, as well as a small headwear range.

Grind London return with their latest collection for Spring/Summer 2014 and accompanying look book entitled ‘Classic Summer Cuts’.

A solid collection with quality visuals to match, the versatile range includes short sleeved patterned shirts, British summer inspired long sleeve shirts, shorts, bucket hats and graphic tees.
