ONLY NY SS14 Editorial

Only_01

Since 1997, New York based Only NY have been developing a brand that represents all aspects of life in the Big Apple. Inspired by graffiti, skateboarding and street culture, the lifestyle brand always delivers collections full of timeless, quality pieces. We linked up once again with our friends from Urban Industry to shoot the latest collection for Spring/Summer 2014.

The collection is diverse, with a range of graphics, prints and colour inspired by city life, with nautical elements making appearances. The release includes tees, sweaters, hoodies, coach jackets, long sleeve polo tops and a comprehensive head wear range. In a seemingly faultless collection, our favourite pieces included the white Manhattan Tour Crew neck Sweatshirt, the Planter short sleeve shirt with matching bucket hat and the wheat Polo hat in natural/bone.

Check out images from our shoot below featuring our model Dexter Daniels. The full Only NY collection is available now at www.urbanindustry.co.uk

Rip N Dip & The National Skateboard Co.

Ripndip_07

Brighton staple Select is the City’s top destination for skate and streetwear apparel and footwear. With global brands such as Nike and HUF on its roster as well as stocking some of the more up and coming labels, Select has pretty much everything covered for your skate/streetwear needs.

You can always count on RIPNDIP to come up with something interesting for their collections. A regular at Select, their latest release sees plenty of pattern and tie-dye, with Malibu inspired designs such as the Tropical Fatty coach jacket and Malibu Flamingo Hoodie. Of course there is always time for a cat or two, with the cheeky Lord Nermal tee making an appearance.

New to Select store and one brand that has caused some excitement among us anticipating its arrival, is the National Skateboard Co. With simple clean designs, good quality materials and some solid hardware, the National Skateboard Co look to be continuing the recent success of UK skateboarding brands.

Check out our shoot with our friends at Select Store and some key items from both brands below and be sure like their facebook page here: Select Store BrightonFor more info on the brands visit www.thenationalskateboardco.com and www.ripndipclothing.com.

Rascals_01

Rascals SS14 Editorial

Rascals_01

Rascals continue to grow stronger with every collection they drop and their 90’s inspired Spring/Summer release sees one of their biggest and best collections so far. The Copenhagen based brand reflects the spirit of their city in the design, with a large influence from fixie bike culture. They focus on fusing the everyday street wear aesthetic with classic sports and athletic styles.

We teamed up with online street wear store Street Casuals to shoot items from Rascals latest release. The stand out piece (or outfit) has to be the Rascals Baseball jersey and matching shorts, which we combined with the Rascals bucket hat in Black. The Rascals ‘No History’ Hockey t-shirt and Sport Zip hoody continues the theme of fashion combined with sportswear, with a high focus on detailing and quality throughout.

Check out our shoot with Street Casuals and Rascals below, all items shown are available now at www.streetcasuals.com

Urban Industry Spring 2014 Lookbook

Outfit8_01

We recently teamed up with one of the UK’s leading retailers in both Street wear and Menswear, Urban Industry, to work on their latest look book for Spring 2014

The look book focuses on some new editions to the south-coast store such as Le Coq Sportif and Black Scale, as well as highlighting key pieces from remaining brands. We took to the award-winning Towner Gallery based in Eastbourne, which with its lines and edges, both inside and out provided the perfect back drop for the shoot.

One of our aims was to hone in on the duality of clothing stocked at Urban Industry. We styled our model Cheyenne to show exactly how clothing from the likes of Grind London, Rascals and Carhartt (to name but a few) can be worn in an effortless but effective way. We went with a more mature look with Glyn using product from North Face, Garbstore and Edwin, amongst others. The outfits show casual styling, using premium product with a high focus on fit and quality.

We had a great time working with the guys from Urban Industry and would also like to thank our models Glyn Jones and Cheyenne Jane Nguyen-Xuan. Also a huge thanks goes out to the good people at the Towner Gallery for being so helpful and accommodating.

Check out images from the look book above and below and be sure to visit urbanindustry.co.uk to see all of the Spring product used in the shoot, which is available now.

This seasons offering from Brixton has not only seen some great quality product and design, but also some awesome imagery from their look book and catalogue.

We jumped at the chance to shoot some of this seasons product when it arrived at Select. The collection includes simple graphic tees and sweaters, as well as a strong headwear selection.  The stand out piece for us has to be the Clyde Jacket, it’s so good we featured it twice! The coach jacket style and simple design makes it a fashion staple for this Spring.

All Brixton product featured is available now at Select Store in Brighton.

Poler Stuff at Street Casuals

Poler_07

Portland based Poler Stuff has been a hugely popular outerwear choice since it hit our shores and for good reason. Their latest offering for Spring/Summer 2014 is probably their strongest yet and has now arrived at Street Casuals.

Having become avid ramblers since our last shoot, we were lucky enough to test the Poler Stuff product out first hand, exploring fields and forests around the downs with our friend Ollie. The collection features a solid t-shirt, hoodie and headwear selection, as well as accessories including tents and luggage pieces. Our top picks from the collection include the PS 6 panel hat in brown and roll top bag in khaki and blue.

Check out images from our shoot with the guys at Street Casuals below. The Poler Stuff Spring/Summer 2014 collection is available now at streetcasuals.com.
