Parra launches Homeware Line

Popular Dutch street artist Parra has stepped in to the world of homeware with an array of clean designs.

Aside from his art, Parra has cracked the streetwear and skateboarding markets with his ‘By Parra’ and ‘Tired Skateboards’ ventures, and having tried his hand at various lifestyle pieces in the past, it is now time for Parra to apply his surreal curvy post-pop imagery to a selection of practical and decorative homeware goods. The line is a natural extension of the Parra’s clothing designs, consisting of tea towels, sofa throws, table cloths, cushion covers and door mats, all of which emblazoned with his iconic artwork. Fan favourites from previous projects including the ““Vaso di Culo” vase and the “Sleep Deprived” carpet also make an appearance in a collection which is high in quality with all pieces constructed in Europe. The tea-towels have been made by the Dutch Textile Museum and various other pieces have been manufactured by one of Belgium’s oldest weaving mills. Keeping the designs subtle throughout, and sticking to light grey’s, red, off-white and black, it’s a homeware collection that would work with most homes interior colour schemes.

All Good AW15 at Urban Industry

Arriving in the UK for the first time this season, young Californian label All Good is now available exclusively in Europe at Urban Industry. In celebration of the brands arrival, UI have put together a short lookbook feature to highlight the key styles from the release.

All Good is a fairly new face on the scene. A brand that is deeply rooted in the Californian lifestyle, they look to various themes surrounding the culture of the area, from the beach, to skate and outdoor activities, to inform their design. The brand has an undeniable streetwear sensibility to it, utilising bold graphics and vibrant colours throughout the collection which consists of staple, easy to wear silhouettes.

For Autumn/Winter 2015, the main emphasis is on the brands outerwear options, with their lightweight colour blocked pullover jackets the stand out pieces from the range. There is a retro element to the styles they put out, but a huge focus within their cut and sew line is functionality and this is achieved through technical details within each piece’s construction. All Good’s cut and sew line stretches in to shirting, sweaters and t-shirts, which have been made from various materials including mesh, chambray and PVC on the seamless zip detailing. The has been rounded off with a small selection of simple graphic tees and long sleeves, as well as a concise range of caps.

The All Good Autumn/Winter 2015 is available now at Urban Industry

PRMTVO AW15 ‘Get Stoned’ Collection

Young LA based brand PRMTVO have returned with their fourth instalment of goods, as they present their ‘Get Stoned’ collection for Autumn/Winter 2015.

Comprised of simplistic street ready silhouettes and featuring the brands signature playful graphics, the latest collection draws influence from geology and prehistory, with primitive references and stone marking inspired designs, reminiscent of the Screamadelica album cover. The ‘Get Stoned’ release is tied together with a range of custom pebble shaped cushions in various sizes, again featuring ancient rock drawing inspired prints.

Despite still being in its adolescence, the brand is starting to make its mark in the UK market. Sticking closely to it’s trippy themes and drawing from an altered state of consciousness throughout their releases, PRMTVO continues to push forward with each collection, offering a different perspective in such a saturated market.

Brighton’s KRUSOE store have put together this minimal studio lookbook to showcase the latest offering from PRMTVO. You can shop the PRMTVO ‘Get Stoned’ collection online and in-store at KRUSOE. now.
