Innocence & Experience (HTL Vol 13)

Along with being deeply involved with the Long Live Southbank campaign, Henry Edwards-Wood delivers his latest edit entitled Innocence and Experience.

The short film documents the ever changing face of London skateboarding and features a plethora of UK and European skateboarders including Kyrone Davis, Lucien Clarke, Blondey McCoy, Casper Brooker, Nick Jensen, Sylvian Tognelli, introducing Domas Glatkauskas and many more.

The culturally diverse city draws influence, experiences and styles from across the globe, and along with its unique terrain it is one of the most vibrant and individual scenes in the world, with a rich history in skateboarding.

The latest instalment in the independent Hold Tight London series, contrasts the new faces with the more established heads that emerged earlier in the series. With the big smoke as its back drop this awesome short film presents a gritty yet refreshing take on one of the most exciting and documented cities in the world.

“This Holiday season was largely designed around the idea to never settle for less than the best. Pushing the limits within ones self to discover what is possible, we really wanted to encourage people to explore the road less traveled and to never assume that the given path is a single fixed direction.

It isn’t until you’re willing to become completely uncomfortable that the progression will make itself known. You have to divert from the norm, question everything and never settle for less than the best”

– Joe King, Co-Founder/Creative DIrector of ROOK.
