Benny Gold ‘Duboce’ Collection Spring/Summer 2014

The Summer is a time for being outside, exploring, relaxing and making the most of the weather, not rotting away behind a desk. Benny Gold fully promotes that in their latest look book for Summer 2014 entitled ‘Duboce’.

With San Francisco’s most iconic city park as its back drop, the look book shot by Jason Roque highlights key pieces from the collection, from graphic tees and printed button up shirts to outerwear and headwear selections.

Brand owner Benny Gold had this to say on the collection;

‘We live in cities and love the streets, but sometimes we need to trade the desk for the beach and roll those windows down.
The craving for escape is in us all. Cruise north, cruise south, cruise east, cruise best.
Summertime is for shaking up the routine, packing your cooler, crossing one of those big bridges.
Eat ice cream, drink beer, wear floral. Experience the escape, even if just for a day.‘

Crooks & Castles Summer 2014

Crooks & Castles link up with renowned LA based photographer Van Styles to deliver their Summer 2014 look book.

Shot in and around the brand owners (Rob Panlinio) home in Pasadena, Van successfully captures the essence of a Crooks summer, featuring product from both the mens and women lines. Taking inspiration from the World Cup in Brazil as well as other influences throughout the collection, the release is filled with wardrobe staples for the upcoming months. With the introduction of mesh into the design as well as other materials such as suede and leather, the collection allows for the perfect transition from summer day to summer night.

The Crooks & Castles Summer 2014 collection will be available online in mid-may and at the following retailers by the end of May;

HUF Summer 2014 Lookbook and Video

San Francisco’s HUF deliver something slightly different for their Summer collections visuals, with the “Pick your Vice” video look book and accompanying scratch card images.

How would you react to winning a ton of HUF goodies on a scratch card? Directed by Brian Kelley and filmed and edited by Brandon Kuzma, the video lookbook shows us just how much it means to one lucky dreamer who took his sock game to the next level with his win. The short film highlights HUF’s vibrant plant life sock selection, as well as featuring key apparel pieces from this seasons collection.

Saucony Originals Summer 2014

Following the release of Saucony’s first ever lifestyle look book for their Spring/Summer 2014 range, we take a closer look at two new colour ways in the popular Grid 9000 and Shadow Original silhouettes.

Arriving just in time for the summer months the Grid 9000 adopts a tan, grey and red colour way and features a suede and mesh mix on the upper to ensure breathability, as well as a large cushioned rubber midsole for additional support. The Shadow Original comes with an all over grey upper, white sole and features red detailing throughout. The shoes upper is constructed with a combination of mesh and nylon, with suede overlays for long-lasting durability, the “Marshallowy” EVA midsole is added for increased comfort.

Nike Roshe Run NM City QS “NYC”

Drawing inspiration from New York City vacationers, the Nike Quickstrike City series finds its newest member in the Rosherun NM City QS “NYC”.

The latest take on the popular silhouette features a lightweight canvas upper arriving in an all over polka dot print in a mid navy and classic stone colour way. The shoe features high levels of detailing including leather laces, the “NYC USA” tongue tags and also comes complete with the new ‘Natural Motion’ sole.
