PUMA Introduces the Trinomic Blaze of Glory ‘Tech Edition’

The popular Blaze of Glory silhouette is back with a sleek new update as PUMA introduce the ‘Tech Edition’ Pack for Autumn/Winter 2014.

Arriving in the 90’s, the Blaze of Glory quickly stole the limelight on the running track not only down to its elegant aesthetic but the shoes design and trademark Trinomic cushioning made it a favourite performance shoe for runners. Despite its heritage, the shoes design looks like one from the future and its latest rework enforces that as premium materials and laser cut perforations are applied for a distinct finish. With a rugged leather upper, the pack sees two ultra clean colour ways – black and copeon blue, sitting on a predominantly white midsole.

Nike Air Max Lunar90 “Suit & Tie” Pack

Amongst a spate of high profile releases from Nike this weekend, one pack that caught our eye in particular is the “Suit & Tie” pack that dropped on Friday.

One of Nike’s more recently introduced styles – the Air Max Lunar90 gets its most ‘sophisticated’ rework to date as Nike apply premium jacquard fabrics and unique patterns to the shoes upper. The Suits & Tie pack employs rich colour treatments onto paisley and herringbone prints, including browns, deep burgundy’s, hyper jade and challenge red. Each pair integrates Nike’s innovative Air and Lunarlon technology providing comfort for the wearer in a bold yet wearable collection.

The Quickstrike release is available now at Bristol’s 5pointz.

Asics x Onitsuka Tiger X Offspring ‘Desert Pack’

Onitsuka Tiger and Asics link up with UK based sneaker boutique Offspring to present a desert-inspired collaboration pack.

The subject of previous high profile collaborations, the Gel Lyte V undergoes its latest rework as a desert sand colour way is applied, along with blue, rich burgundy and camel  to reflect a post sunset skyline. Arriving with a premium suede upper, additional features include a part speckled midsole and Offspring branding on the insole (included on both pairs). Meanwhile Onitsuka Tiger’s sleek Shaw Runner silhouette has received an all over navy colour treatment on the durable mesh and suede upper. The shoe sits on top of a white speckled midsole and includes tropical-green detailing on the eyelets and branding, taking cues from a cold, atmospheric night in the desert.

Adding something special to the release, the brands have linked up with SayDuck to reveal the sneakers. All you have to do is download the app via iTunes or Google Play and scan it over the marker below to view 3D images of the shoes and get a closer look at the release.

HUF Footwear Collection – Delivery 2 Fall 2014

Following a solid first delivery, which is available in UK stores now, HUF return with their second footwear release for Fall 2014.

Recent additions in the Dylan and HUFNAGEL 2 receive new treatments as Dylan Rieder’s signature model returns in a rich Oxblood pig suede and the HUFNAGEL 2 now available in Gray/Royal and Black/Gum colour ways. The Classic Lo is offered in Almond Suede and the Classic Hi in Black and Wine options. The well rounded collection is completed with updated colour ways in the Pepper and Ramondetta Pro, and a vegan-friendly version of the Sutter.

Gourmet Footwear Fall 2014 Lookbook

Drawing inspiration from high end Italian-American styles, Gourmet footwear return with a range of new models and familiar silhouettes ready for fall 2014.

Testing the styles against the elements, the forest provides the background for their latest lookbook, showcasing new colourways in the Quadici lite, new premium fabric treatments for the popular 35 and the introduction of two new styles – The Gaetano and The Corridore.

The Gaetano, named after Greg Lucci’s son, is a hiking boot style made from heavy embossed water resistant leather, arriving in black and tan. The Corridore is a trail ready shoe made from nylon, neoprene and suede, available in black and white and a tan, red and navy colourway. Designed to handle the harsher conditions of the colder months, seasonal footwear models are also styled with some of Gourmets apparel collection.

PUMA x Size? ‘Wilderness Pack’ Drop 2

Following lasts months ‘Sahara’ and ‘Inner City’ releases from the Wilderness Pack’s first drop, PUMA and Size? return to give two more silhouettes a re-work inspired by the harsh terrain of the jungle and the mountains.

The popular Blaze of Glory model takes cues from the Amazonian Jungle as it pays homage to the dense, overgrown forestation and its inhabitants. The forest green mesh, suede and rubbery leather mix upper sits on top of a speckled midsole and is finished with bright pink heel wrap detailing designed to warn off predators. With the forests humidity in mind, the shoe provides breathability, as well as sheltering the foot from downpours.

The Disc-Blaze is designed for endurance and durability, built to tackle harsh mountainous conditions. Again the speckled midsole is applied, whilst the upper is made from a heavy wax canvas, and includes an ice green cage unit and brown outer sole.

Drop 2 of the Wilderness Pack will be available at size? from August the 2nd and will be available worldwide from September the 6th.

HUF Footwear Collection – Delivery 1 Fall 2014

HUF present the first drop of their ever expanding footwear collection for fall 2014.

The latest drop features a range of big releases including the much-discussed Dylan, the high fashion inspired signature model from Dylan Rieder, as well as the debut of the vulcanised Classic-Hi which will sit alongside the recently introduced Classic-Lo. The Pepper and Ramondetta Pro silhouettes receive new seasonal colour treatments, whilst the popular Sutter returns with custom “Blondie” photo graphics in an all over print, to commemorate the bands 40th anniversary.
