A Look Inside Carhartt WIP’s New Soho Store

Carhartt WIP have today opened a brand new store in the heart of London's Soho district.

Carhartt are a brand well known for their clean designs and minimalistic approach to fashion so it comes as no surprise that the store’s interior reflects exactly that. The shop features original exposed brick, minimalistic metal work and natural plywood fixtures, as well as a polished concrete floor, all which is a reference to Carhartts work-wear origins, and as if things couldn’t get cleaner the shop also features a polished concrete floor and a large marble cash desk.

The Shop is located at 74 Brewer Street in Soho (W1F 9JG) so make sure you check it out next time you’re in the neighborhood. For more, head over to carhartt-wip.com

East meets West in Only NY X Less A/W Capsule

East and West Meet in Only NY and Less A/W Capsule

Only NY are teaming up with Taiwanese street-wear boutique Less for a ramen inspired Autumn/Winter range.

With New York being such a multi-cultural city it makes sense for this cross continent collaboration to blend aesthetics from Western and Eastern culture. Both brands have pulled inspiration from the ancient Taiwanese city of Tainan, more specifically from the famous Ta-a noodles that originated in the city. This Eastern influence is a big part of the capsule, which features a printed crew-neck pocket tee, both of which come in blue and white colour options, and a washed black polo cap with embroidered detailing.

Unfortunately the collab won't be available to pick up in the UK, but if you're willing to fork out on the shipping costs you can pick it up from Less stores early October!

Odd Future and Vans Meet for Nostalgic Collab

LA hip-hop collective Odd Future are teaming up with Vans for a collaborative footwear release this season inspired by some OG artwork.

Having worked with Odd Future's frontman Tyler the Creator on several renditions of the Golf Wang Old Skool in the past, Vans come together with Tyler once again to offer up a release which is representative of the collective as a whole and pays homage to one of the most eclectic hip-hop groups of modern times. Although the majority of the group have gone on to work on their individual projects, Odd Future are still as relevant as ever having played a key role in bringing American street-wear to a mainstream UK audience when they exploded onto the scene in 2011. It’s only fitting for them to be recognised and celebrated by a brand as well respected as vans.

The collection will feature the Vans Sk8-Hi and Authentic model, both of which dressed in a bright teal canvas on the upper which is covered with the classic Odd Future donut logo as an all over print. Launching in partnership with Live Nation, each pair from the collection will arrive in a custom designed solid shoebox and will be available at selected European retailers on the 24th of this month. Butter Goods Showcase Impressive SP16 Collection

Australian skate brand Butter Goods have recently released some impressive visuals for their Spring 2016 range.

The look-book is shot in the brand’s hometown of Perth and features some incredibly clean designs; mixing familair silhouettes alongside some newly introduced graphics, translated on to staple styles such as hoodies, polo caps, and crewnecks. Although the collection has been produced with Australian Spring in mind, most items could easily be carried through in to a UK Autumn, sticking to a simplistic colour palette throughout and keeping logo styles minimal.

This collection is available now over at Butter Goods online store so you can expect the release to be landing at UK retailers shortly.

Gosha Rubchinskiy Debuts New Skate Brand

Not content with having the menswear scene on lock Gosha Rubchinskiy is now set to try his hand at skate-wear too, he and long time friend and pro skater Tolia Titaev, have come together to launch the new brand, PACCBET.

The name (which is pronounced “rassvet”, not “pakbet”) translates to “sunrise” however it is often used as a Russian metaphor for better days, which ties in well with the themes Gosha has been exploring in his work so far. This first drop will include a selection of decks, t-shirts, hoodies and caps, all of which have been designed by Titaev.

The label is launching exclusively through Dover Street Market, and will be available this Saturday, the 17th, at DSM stores worldwide.
