Vans OTW pays homage to Los Angeles street wear with their ‘Block’ Collection, a global trainer series inspired by LA’s La Brea and Fairfax Neighbourhoods.
Blending modern design with the classic Vans aesthetic, the OTW collections take influence from the street wear epicentres across the world, working with local influencers to create collections that reflect the area. Spring 2014 sees Vans OTW serve up a capsule collection inspired by the culture, personalities and trends of LA.
This collection offers up 3 new colour ways in the Bedford, Prescott and Tesella. The black and navy Bedford, a refined offering of the Half Cab, features a poly canvas upper, leather mudguard paneling and sport lace in two tone. With attributes of the classic Vans Authentic, the Prescott arrives in an off-white colour way with high levels of detailing, such as Pig suede overlays and zig-zag stitching. And finally we have the Tesella, completely reworking the checkerboard print into a handwoven upper pattern. The mic suede upper, air mesh and speckled sole sits on top of the UltraCush™ Lite outsoles to provide maximum comfort and breathability.
